The knob on the hydraulics controls the drop speed of your implement... so you don't slam stuff down into the ground too fast and bust stuff. Our Fords never had that until they started putting them on the SCV's in with the 5610S's... Looks about the same as our Ford 5610S's, which was basically an updated version of the 6600 Ford, which was basically the same powertrain as the old Ford 5200 row crop we had from the early 70's. The main difference is they upped the horsepower with the Genesis engines from about 66 to 72. Same 8 speed dual range transmission. We row cropped with them for decades... Later! OL J R :)
Under the seat there should be a U shape piece of steel that sets in notches in the Raul of the seat base lift it up and it should let the seat move if not take the seat off and spry the tracks down because they are rusted

That knob also keeps the 3 point up as well if you have something o.nThe rear it came in handy a time or two when I had to drift start it
55 series tractors from Mannheim are the best series ever made. I have a bunch of tractors up to 250 hp and my 55 series are always running well.

What weight of the bales ya moving? I got half ton square bales would the 2555 have any troubles with moving and stacking em atleast 2 to 3 high?
800 pounds it will eat a 1000 bale mine would lift the ass off the ground s 1000 pound bale will give you no problems
