I was diagnosed with MS four months ago. I tested negative for the JC virus. Don't know whether tysabri is the reason but I have had no relapses since the initial attack of vertigo. I also follow McDougall's diet.

Further testing showed I also have APS: Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome. So I take tysabri monthly and Pradaxa daily. The original problems, vertigo and diplopia, have ceased but still dealing with pulmonary emboli pain. No vaccinations since rabies shot thirty years ago.

Hi! Anyone experience hair loss as a side effect? I am on my 4rth. month of Natalizumab and I am now very worried about the amount of hair I am losing. Is this normal?

My niece died from Tysabri-related PML. It was horrible. Horrible. I wonder it Biogen is really keeping track of often it occurs. I'd also like to know if Dr. Skeen is being paid by Biogen.

I’m so sorry you lost your niece! I start Tysabri next week. How long was your niece receiving treatment for? Had she done the JVC prescreening? It’s mind boggling all the info they throw at you when receiving an MS diagnosis...I hope this treatment will help me...but I really don’t want to die from it!
