can't help but think that thus is better than the op from the anime. this sets up the intrigue well, displaying the characters in actual situations you would normally find them in instead of just flashy title cards, making you want to learn more about them, the song just slaps way harder in my opinion, and the animation is really distinct and pretty damn nice to look at if you ask me. i've never seen the anime, and i'm nearly done with my first run of the game, but i'll check the anime out some time and hope they didn't fuck it up like danganronpa the animation or persona 5 the animation did-
My only gripe about the anime is that it's too short. Being condensed into a 12-episode anime has made it somehow lacking in terms of story. There are also some fun bits that was sort of left out because of the run-time, such as the humor (and lots of it).

A different, yet still present thing that bothers me is that the adaptation is just the main Septentrione Story, i know that the Triangulum from Record Breaker wasn't adapted, because well, the anime is only based of the original DS game, but i just think that the Triangulum Story has such a good story, it even has a happy ending that would totally work on the adaptation, and not gonna lie, i wish they would give the DeSu2 anime a Golden/Royal Treatment and make it again, with the added story

+Md Ariffin The Human Administrator ending makes me wonder if at some point we'll get to fight him as a secret boss in some other game like we did the Demi-fiend in DDS. If you think about it, he's pretty much replaced Canopus/The Great Will(Was it actually The Great Will? I'm always confused about whether or not DeSu2 is actually related to the mainline universe considering how different everything seems) after that route, he'd make for a pretty strong boss. Just imagine you're playing some random new Megami Tensei game and it turns out there's a route in it which you get to actively try and destroy the world yourself for whatever reason. Eventually you become strong enough that people start realizing you may actually pull it off, only for The Shining One to send Alcor and the Triangulum to stop you since that's the entire reason he became Administrator in the first place. Eventually you'll break through all the obstacles he puts your way and you make it into the Akasha Stratum, where he actually ends up serving as the final line of defense, the final boss of that route before you get to reach your goal and kill everyone. Just an idea that popped up in my head after I got that ending for the first time.
Md Ariffin Perhaps someone just wasn't pleased with the way the world was being run and decided to start a campaign to kill the current Administrator and forcefully create their ideal world. Like Yamato and Ronaldo intended to do so in cooperation with Polaris in their routes, but now they have to go against the Administrator's will, much the crew did in Daichi's and Saiduq's routes in the Septentrione arc. That would be an interesting twist, since the MC this time around would be doing exactly what The Shining One & friends did to get where they are, but working towards the _opposite_ goal of making humans enslaved to the Administrators' will once again. Almost as if the situation had suffered a complete flip.
+Zetsubou Z. I guess one of the big Consolations like the ones they mentioned were next in line *tricked this humans into being their pawns to usurp the human administrator
To this day, the very 1st Devil Survivor theme, way back from the DS, still is my favourite. The Overclocked theme is nice, but nothing beats the 1st one. In any case, it's nice to have the op at such high quality.
It does looks like miyako, theres a few scenes in this intro about the triangulum. Like Daichi Behind bars. Thats the time when Miyako's Jps agents captured Daichi while he was in the bathroom
If you just got your 3DS today and wonder if you should buy this game, you should. Story is crazy, you are literally pitted against world destroying celestial emmisaries once a day, for 7 days, while the world slowly crumbles to nothingness. Its got multiple ending, and epilogue to each endings, and a whole new 2nd part with its own mind bending story. Before u went against celestial emmisaries, now you fight against celestial generals hell bent on putting the reality to its proper, pre determined course
0:57 This looks like a reference to the animation. It's probably supposed to be a retcon of Daichi's event from the Septentrione arc though, when Hinako gets ganged up upon by a bunch of demons

Devil survivor 1&2 is my first few SMT games before i bought SMT IV becos i had the 3DS Its great how you dont have to play the previous games to unserstand the story since they each have different characters, Well for SMT IV and Apocalypse its connected I played IV before IV apocalypse and both are great games 😤👌

I haven’t finished either devil survivor games (I’ve been stuck on the 7th day vs. jezebel for a long time and I’m still going through 2 but I’ve been playing other games also) But safe to say the second Atlus announces a 3rd devil survivor game my wallet will already be empty due to preordering it
it's because it's a test, if you defeat the 7 you have access to meet Polaris. In 3 of the 5 endings, Polaris is just testing you in her final fight, she doesn't purely wish to destroy the world but she also is ok about it being reformated
Funny how that i never cared about DeSu 2 and thought it was bad. But now i'm at the 6th day playing the original DS one and damn i loved it. The characters and story are better that the DeSu 1 ones
2 is def underrated. I still don’t feel like the story is better than 1 as 2 did feel pretty generic, but it’s a fun game none the less. The cast is great too
