    hey bill the springs are for the in feed rollers they pull the brantches in to the chipper, also when chipping the larger brantches turn the speed down to put less stress on everything and chip in bursts giving the knife drum to speed back up again

    Perfect stuff to spread around your pumpkins to reduce the water evaporation....

    The water helps cool the condenser. No hole needed unless the unit gets old and the slinger ring around the fan blade rusts off.

    Mix your chips with the grass clippings you pick up and compost them. It'll cut back on the cemetery's topsoil bill and a 50/50 mix of compost and topsoil will grow anything you want. You can also top dress the grass with compost instead of fertilizer.

    Possibly one of the coolest toys you bought huh? I need one of those!

  • @menick595
    @menick595 11 років тому

    ive never seen a window unit that hasn't done that, if you look there is a ring around the fan that dips into the water to pick it up. it not only keeps the motor and compressor cool but also increases the efficiency of the unit

    OMG, drove past the cemetery and saw the chipper. Is that for LOW budget funerals?

  • @WilliamSeibertwillis923
    @WilliamSeibertwillis923 11 років тому

    it seemed to struggle pulling in some of the branches. you can beef up the springs on the feeders and that will deffinatly help. i would also run it on the 110

  • @ibdalovely1

    The newer AC units have to be set up so the rear is slightly lower and they are supposed to have water in them when running it helps the unit stay cool

    the water helps cool the compressor so it dose not over heat always make sure there is a little pitch in the back so the water can pool in the pan and the fan can fling the water around

    Most window air con units make that sound, I have a Haier unit too and it sounds like a swimming pool lol

    If you let the branches dry in the sun ahead of time, that will make it easier on your chipper.

    the more power those springs have the more crushing force then put on the wood and its branches so it will help break them off and chip better without jamming

    Bill. U could keep the chipper on the tractor and use the atv to tow the trailer.

  • @xZINC19x
    @xZINC19x 11 років тому

    Bill you could probably get a 3pt hitch conversion plate for your 110 that would hook up just like a bucket. Or that could be your next build project

  • @Joshbri2005

    The water in the ac is from the condensation. It basically acts the same as a dehumidifier.

    Diddnt expect it to be on the small Deere, thought it would go on the 110, neat

  • @deathk26

    He could remove the PTO shaft and gearbox for the snowblower on the 110 and just hook it up to the 3 point hitch on the back.

  • @deathk26
    @deathk26 11 років тому

    The rated PTO power on the 2720 (23.5 hp) is just shy of the min on the range for that chipper (25-45 hp). The 110TLB has a 33 horse PTO which is more in the butter zone on the chipper. It might be better to run it off the 110, especially if you plan on chipping any larger diameter stuff.

    Time to build a skid-steer mount adapter for the chipper.

    Any chipper I have ran doesn't chip up pine needles very well. The one I run at work doesn't chew up pine needles.

  • @Chrisd5341

    you should build a cover for your trailer that detaches so you can blow the woodchips into it!

  • @D12caterpillar
    @D12caterpillar 11 років тому

    well yea i suppose that would work too. i was thkning maybe a tailer for it. but then you would have to get a longer shaft for it. so proably not the best

    @brandonhersey197 11 років тому

    bill here is a cupel of safety tip four you all ways feed a clipper from the side it is safer that way less of a chance to pull you in and never reach i to push it in to the feeder wheel youse a long stick or some thing and if you have any piece of clothing that get hung up and a prach as it going in to the clipper just let it go.

    Bill............ how about mounting a 4 Cylinder Wisconsin or some kinda small engine to run the chipper? that way the tractor is free to pull chips and it will run with more power?

    Be careful if your wearing long sleeves - ESP Iif you tighten those springs. A branch could snag your shirt & pull an arm I'm quick. They shutoff won't save an arm.
