Ich bin seit 1982 ein grosser Fan von The Cure. Aber ich habe in dieser Location Mitleid mit den sehr alten Bäumen. Die kriegen den Lärm aufgedrückt, können ja nicht weg.
One of the best songs they have ever produced. The lyrics are intense and fragile. This song is a masterpiece. Deserves a place in the top 200 of the world's best songs ever.
I was 17, sitting on my bed listening to my brand new cassette... it sucked all the air out of my chest. Couldn't breathe. It was like all the years of amazing material culminated in this galactic starburst of lyric and sound... I'm old now lol. but still hits me the same. Every single f'ing time.
Here Here! Simon is at least 1/2 of thee ❤️ & Sound of The Cure! As Robert said For Simon: "Every Step of the Way" HOF praise from Robert Smith! The other 1/2 of Thee ❤️ & Sound! For the most Emotional Band of all Time! The Cure gives you Tears & Goosebumps! ✌️& 💕 Hoy
This song is the best beautiful one in the popular music that I've known. Wave of small bells of temple roop, majestic melody of synth, waightful and beautiful sound of base, and the poetry says about life. This is the contiction of artistic by them.
I wasn't a big fan of Robert Cure and his band, but after watching this gig a couple of years ago, I became it. The Cure is a one brilliant in rock music
Here they are, the great heroes from the late 70s, the 80s and ever since then! A truly great concert, and in that condition, they are still among the very best Bands of the present (The Cure are unique anyway)!
You prolly dont care at all but does someone know of a trick to log back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my password. I would love any help you can give me!
I was there also. The Cure performed really well considering how HOT it was. Not normal UK weather was it? I'm seeing then at Cardiff Motorpoint Arena Dec Ithaca 2022
@@torokignyac9753 Lucky you that you've seen them there! I saw The Cure only once, on 4/28/2000, in Oberhausen, Germany. It was a great experience, something very special for me.
@@lisaoliver969 There are three bands that represent something very special for me: The Doors, Radiohead and The Cure. Of the three, the Cure were the first I have got to know, and it's also the only band of the three that I've seen live (I didn't get to see the original "Doors" because I was just born back then). I'm sure you will enjoy the Concert in Cardiff!
What a day, what a gig. One of the best Cure concerts ever (and I've seen many, since 1996!). That said their Glastonbury performance the following year topped even this IMO.
I had just broken up with my long term gf and had to drive 2 hours to work during a heatwave - No air conditioning but I played this song on repeat for a month until my sadness was cured. The cure will always be one of the greats
I have seen The Cure several times, and this was easily one of the best concerts. It felt like the hottest day of the year, and but the atmosphere was amazing!
yes, this day was definitely very special! I'll never forget the feeling when the sun went down and the cold breeze started to catch up! one of the best concerts I've been at.....
see you again in Padova after 35 years... 1987 was my first and only time, hopefully we'll be together again in November 2022... this time with my autistic son !!
Never owned a single record of the Cure yet every song I've ever heard I've loved added to that are the live concerts I've caught on tv. Worlds greatest band in my opinion.
Alors merci beaucoup à vous et à You Tube 🎼🎶🎤🎸👍🖤👏🏻 love the CURE since I was a teenager
@Sean M Not sure. I think they’re more likely to tour again than release a new album… And I’d be happy with that. Never seen a band more committed to giving their real fans everything of themselves during live sets: 2-3 solid hours of yes, the singles that we all want to hear - plus the album classics, the b-sides, and the rare gold nuggets that they rarely play (Charlotte Sometimes) or some that radio fans just won’t even recognise. Smith and The Cure gave their all to every fan of every type - and I wouldn’t have it any differently… And I hope to hell they choose gigs over albums, or whatever works for them, as it works for us… :)
"I think it's dark and it looks like rain, " you said "And the wind is blowing Like it's the end of the world, " you said "And it's so cold, it's like the cold if you were dead" Then you smiled for a second "I think I'm old and I'm feeling pain, " you said "And it's all running out Like it's the end of the world, " you said "And it's so cold, it's like the cold if you were dead" Then you smiled for a second Sometimes you make me feel Like I'm living at the edge of the world Like I'm living at the edge of the world "It's just the way I smile, " you said
this album, Disintegration, should have been launched into space. It carried me through my 20s and still calms me, saddens me, inspires me.
Comme moi

What happened to the old trees, do they like the noise?
It took too many decades for me to realize that The Cure is the greatest band ever.

Anyone else remember that the blast of the first couple seconds of the beginning was actually distorted on the day?

In gran forma direi...grande e solenne inizio di concerto...una meraviglia quasi all'ora del tramonto
"I think it's dark and it looks like rain, " you said
"And the wind is blowing
Like it's the end of the world, " you said
"And it's so cold, it's like the cold if you were dead"
Then you smiled for a second
"I think I'm old and I'm feeling pain, " you said
"And it's all running out
Like it's the end of the world, " you said
"And it's so cold, it's like the cold if you were dead"
Then you smiled for a second
Sometimes you make me feel
Like I'm living at the edge of the world
Like I'm living at the edge of the world
"It's just the way I smile, " you said
It’s took the whole song for me to find the lyrics.. I’m now starting at the beginning. Cheers!👍🏻 I knew I wouldn’t be let down.😊
