Just lovely, my favorite is the metallic blue!
Thanks
I own this set of paints and im absolutely in love with them. The sine is beautiful and the quality is amazing. Im really happy with what i bought and its worth it.
They are pretty good but I honestly don't use them that often. I reach for other metallic paints now such as the finetec ones or even handmade metallic watercolors
Ce stil! Extraordinar! J'adore!
+artist, nu politician mersi ♥
Amazing picture!
Thank you so much! 🐱
I love your style!
The paint looks almost more like gouache than watercolors, don't you think?
Yes it's very opaque. i was so impressed. the white and teal part is actually gouache so that's probably why it has an over all gouache painting feeling
Is it better to use other kind of paints if you're trying to achieve the opaque effect? The watercoloures are used for more soft and lite texture. Try to use gouache maybe? You have a very cute style by the way!
Thank you! It definitely is easier finding some gouache to get that opaque effect. However I still haven't found a gouache set that is metallic and super opaque. I also enjoy using my watercolors in different ways. Sometimes just for light washes and more often then not for more solid coloring
What did you use for the white?
I used white gouache from a Romanian brand but any brand will do. I just dilute it with a bit more water to make it more liquidy
Thanks.
I think that you are already running out of paint is because you pre wet the colors! These are not intended to be wet before you paint. Im not sure, but that may damage the paints?
That might be true. I am used to the winsor and newton ones and i usually add a bit of water to them because they are more stiff. But i guess you might be right since the kuretake ones are more creamy. I will try to not add water to them before hand and see what happens. Thanks for the info :D
Np! I usually wet my paints too, but kuretake is a really special kind of watercolor. Happy painting! :D
¿Que papel usas para trabajar con ellas?
Aquí usé un cartón 300 GSM negro
I put mine in a tin pencil case. You can get them for a great price over on AliExpress xxx

Anca Pora Illustration that’s ok, anything I can do to help I always do xxx
Wow! $9?? It’s $37.50 in Australia. Ripped off here I tell you
Thought it looked lovely until you added the white
Thank you. I personally like the white accents. but sometimes i don't know where to stop :))
