I’m very impressed with this lure.
I can't wait to try this out...the other 2 most popular 110mm surfcasting lures are way too light for me with any kind of wind. California coast usually has some wind so I end up using a 1.5 oz spoon but this is looking great.
We all know what lure you’re referring to for switching out the split rings and hooks. Lol. I tested this lure and it casts pretty well compared to that lure. It does run shallower though.

Wish they made a model that was 2oz. for extra casting distance and just a bit deeper diving. Maybe another 1' diving depth to get under white water. Also how about some other colors like smelt, anchovy, etc? I would pay extra for it.

Why haven't you or you competition put the Color of the lures on the inside of a clear plastic outer body? You both have the wear of the bottom trebel hook on the body?

Looks awesome! I bought one (6", Sardine) the other day not realizing it was designed for saltwater species. Since I fish mostly for walleye, pike, & SM bass up here in Canada, I can exchange it for a different bait, but just curious if anybody's had an success with it in freshwater?
