Contemplated having the front a rear brakes and rotors done at my local repair shop. Price quote of $500. Purchased the parts for less than $200 and watched this video and 1A Auto’s rear brake replacement video a few times. Excellent instructional videos, completed job and save approx: $300.00, thank you 1A Auto!!!!!!!!!!!

If you about to DIY you may as well do it the right way. Lube those caliber bolts whether it needs it or not because your next pads change won't be another 40K miles and that is a long time.

You didn’t mention to make sure the hub is completely clean of rust and dirt on the mounting surface or the rotor could wobble. Also if you don’t replace the retaining screws when you change rotors a bit of rust or dirt can fall in between the hub and rotor and be trapped in there?
