Be careful not clearing the segments from the region of the table saw blade while cutting multiples. I once did as you did, cut multiple parts (very similar parts to what you were making) and allowed the current one to push the later ones out of the way. This worked for awhile until the most recent one jammed up the older ones and the one I was cutting came flying back to me. I had a hell of a bruise on my stomach for a long time after; I was just lucky it didn't kickback to my face. Love your work, you are a master.
Lovely piece. I'd like to see a sort of 3D Yin Yang version of this using a similar technique. I'm not sure if that would work, but it would be interesting to see.
Terrific piece. A suggestion: An embedded bronze wire between the carved and plain areas would create a cleaner relationship. I would use a tiny cutting wheel on the Dremel to create the channel rather than the vertical drill. The piece even without the carving was beautiful.
Well, that's something new on your channel - at least to my knowledge. (But saw something similar on a British turner's channel a couple of weeks ago - not the one you mentioned). To be honest: I prefer your works preserving the natural material and the natural colours. But I understand that every artist time and again wants to try new ideas... In any case: Every weekend looking forward to your new creations.
Seeing that you uploaded I instantly stopped watching another channel (different topic) and turned to yours. Curious to see with which surprise your creativity would come up this week...

This is a new twist, with dremel work and verdigris. What better thing to do on a Saturday morning than watch Mayuko create beautiful art ?! 🦓

Well, that's certainly a good use for a piece of an old pallet! The old pallet became a work of art!

Years of watching your woodarts. Master of segmented pieces. And once with resin. Looking towards your variety of resin with logs.

I can't think of one piece you've made that wasn't excellent. I also really like that you don't put music in!

Great realization BUT for your safety, dont’ use Methyl Bromide pallets. It’s a toxic treatment.
