Update after 10.500 km: Tread depth now 6,4 - 6,6mm. Starting tread depth was 7,3 - 7,5mm. So that's 0,9mm over 10.500 km. If wear process stays the same, that would mean up to 65.000 km on these tires is possible until legal tread depth of 1,6mm is reached.
@@dmhlados3615 I'm actually quite surprised the sidewall is perfectly straight against the wheel edge, I use 215/45/17 against 8j x 17, and it look quite stretched, I don't quite like it
Well, I know that on my 7j rims the max tire width is supposed to be 225. Which is what I've had for some years. So I can imagine that a wider rim like yours combined with a slightly narrower tire could look slightly different than my setup. Maybe a 225 is an option for you too...
