Took my boys to visit this site a few years ago it was so sad. My heart completely goes out to the parents and any person teammate friend that witnessed this horrendous incident.
I used to live in Orlando from 2015 - 2023. It was necessary for me to visit the site because Tyre just wanted to be with the company of people he trusted like those members in his family.
I'm going to need counseling after this. I have a big boy too who plays Division 1 college football and I cannot begin to even imagine what this mom is going through. There's no pain pill you can take for a broken heart. I want to hug her! God please give her strength, peace, comfort, and everything she needs to get through this.
That’s incorrect. The jury ordered the (Austrian) company to pay the parents $155 million each. The family now has to seek an order from a court in Austria to collect the judgment. The company didn’t even appear to defend itself at this trial, so they probably aren’t going to be very cooperative in paying the judgment.
@@Sesca026 The company didn't show up for trial to defend themselves? WOW! I think the company will pay the family. They have no choice. The jury says so.
@@TheHistorianKing US courts have no jurisdiction in Austria. Their only hope is to seize the company's assets that happen to be in the US, if they have any.
@ If only it were that simple…It’s a foreign company (based out of Austria). The fact that the company completely ignored the lawsuit speaks volumes as to their intentions of honoring any verdict.
I hope she knows that she didvan amazing job as a mom and i wish she didn't blame herself. She did everything right. She was teaching her son independence and to make decisions without her. She is the best mom for that! He would make a different if he was alive, and he will make a difference in death thru his legacy.
Unfortunately, this is what happens. It’s very unpersonable, but it’s the way it has to be done. Typical the funeral home would not allow family to see their loved one without transferring the deceased and fixing them up. They typically will suggest not looking. Soley, it’s the families choice.
As a former science teacher, the fact that Tyre was an excellent science student and intrigued with experiments will always resonate with me. He wanted to participate in activities that demonstrated his passion about learning and how he wanted to engage his family throughout various events.
@MoxyBerber what actions? He's was a kid. The ride operator shld've said, Nah man... u can't get on this 1. U weigh 2 much, man. Sorry. What was the kid going 2 do?? Get on anyway :/ c'mon now.

I’m so sorry momma 🤍🤍🤍 this really hit my heart I can not stop crying. Sending a billion hugs to you ! I know there’s nothing no one can say to make this better for you but I’m so sorry and just want to let you know you’re so strong ! 🤍
didn't you watch the video? she said she was packing up and about to leave but they called her and told her not to come. it took them 3 hours to finally admit to her that he was dead
This was a tragic loss. But honestly in my opinion and which is a fact from the information that we received, he was told that he was too big to ride. He knew that his weight was an issue, he knew that the ride did not lock. That alone would have scared me because it was not secure and the fact that his friends also pressured him to ride when they also knew of the situation and what the man also told them that he could not ride. That incident could have been prevented. I am not being insensitive because again it was tragic.
You have a great point however the ride operators should’ve insisted he get off and should have never started that ride if he was still in that seat if they knew he was too big and that his seat wasn’t locked! That made them responsible!!!
Ma'am, just pray a tragedy doesn't happen to you and yours, and people tell you this. You could have said your condolences and went on. But, no...that would have been too decent. 🙄 There's a reason people like you often receive the old five fingers to the face trick.
"Hey, it's not safe for your son to use this ride, the safety mechanism won't lock." "YOUSE RAYCIS! LET HIM ON!" "Okay." *Splat* "GRABITY RAYCIS! MONEY TIME!"
Your response so ignorant and insensitive. No matter if he got on the ride or not. They didn't let him see that it wasn't going to secure him. They didn't even try to lock it. They didn't even stop him as they should've. He was a kid and they had a right to say who can ride and who shouldn't for safety reasons. So it's the workers fault for neglect
What part did she play in enabling her son to reach such a weight? That contributed to his death. No-one else here has commented on that and it needs to be said.
Just STFU PLEASE, bc if you’re going to say that, then SAY WHAT NEEDS BE SAID: They should have done THEIR due diligence in NOT letting him IF you wanna take it there. No regard for human life, cause I can BET TOP DOLLAR, you yourself are not UP TO PAR in your own damn life.
I’m crying this mother is so strong
It's not your fault mom. You had no idea that your son wouldn't return to you. I pray that you forgive yourself and be able to find peace.
No it is her fault
Money can never replace family. R.I.H.
And they won’t see a cent, that company isnt from US (i dont think it even exists) and it was illegally modified by the park
He had to be absolutely terrified. What a horrific death. God has him now.
Omg right. Exact same thing I keep replaying in My head. Did he fall out from very high up?

There should be a weight scanner and height scanner at the entrance of the coaster so this wouldn't happen.
