The only advantage to utilizing Walmart’s version of scan & go is not having the hassle of the kiosk to scan all the items in your cart like everyone else not using scan & go👍🏾.
But the time you save at the checkout you've already spent taking the extra time to scan each items as you shopped. No advantage there, just shifted where you did the scanning. Now if we could skip the checkout, that would be an advantage.

Yeah, I tried this and guess what, stopped at the door demanding a receipt. App would load my previous purchases showing the items but that wasn't good enough for them. They proceeded to tell me store policy overrides corporation policy and they require a receipt. Basically they made me wait forever for them to pull up a transaction log with my purchase. Walmart plus needs to print out a physical receipt if they require it to leave.
In the produce section they have digital scales... You put your items on it and there is a QR code you scan. 😁 I've never tried using Scan and go but I really hope it takes off and they get scan and go registers like they do at Sam's club.
Question about price discrepancy. Today for example I went to purchase a couple of variety pack of Gatorades. The price on the shelf was rollback $9.88, however in the Scan&Go it came up as $10.98. It was still worth the extra $1.10 to me because Gatorade is my go to so I bought it anyways, but I know normally Walmart would adjustment the price at register but Im guessing that cant be done with Scan&Go can it.

If I asked, "Is there (anyway) you can get the price to match in the app?", and if not, then the correct term would be anyway. I was always going to buy it, so regardless if they could or couldn't, I was still buying it. Think this way anyway gives the opportunity while anyways has FU money and doesn't care.

I won't use this app until they actually implement the "go" part of their namesake but not requiring shoppers having to go through checkout.
I rang up all my items then the pc buffered all poof....all my scanned items disappeared after I had already bagged my merchandise. Be careful, they can falsely accuse people of stealing where their faulty equipment purposedly buffers. Its a trap!

Never ever give Walmart any reason whatsoever to scan or have access to your phone. Everything is in your phone, most importantly, bank accounts.
