Great build and the perfect location for it too, looks awesome with the CBD in the background. I love the way the terminal roads connect at different other roads and not just merge together into a large one. BlueThunder did a great job with the Thessia planes, they literally scream 'vacation' at anybody boarding them🙂
That's not Egg Lingo actually. It's short for Central Business District, also known sometimes as 'Downtown'. Usually an centrally located area of a city with high rising towers and high land value.
Australian cities are always changing with new skyscrapers. I think you should add a new building into the cbd every episode, so that your downtown is constantly changing.
This is one of your greatest airport builds so far. Love them. Your ATC need to be raised a little (they like to see the whole airport) and your livery planes are amazeballs. Thank you for another great build ✈️
you should name the convention Centre after blue thunder, as in BT Convention centre, where the bt could correspond to blue thunder and the financial group BT, as in they helped finance the convention centre to hold whatever they want to close to the airport
Took me 3 split watches to finish the episode but I looove the airport. The sudden turn to the right isn't so unbelievable. Due to the parallel runways in Sydney airport they do tend to veer off to the right/left shortly after take off :) Awesome vibes from Thessia's International Airport 🎉
You should use the monorail, perhaps the cruise terminal - monorail hub leading into the CBT and maybe joining up with the metro and/or rail system and airport and the convention centre, maybe also the older terminal? It wouldn't entirely out of park - Sydney had a monorail system up until 2013. Also, you can use the multitool to make almost a rollercoaster on steep declines - which is good fun!
As always Thessia just hit the spot to have a great start to the weekend! 💃 This build really ties everything together & it’s absolutely amazing how you manage to make an airport that’s mostly concrete look so inviting & beautiful 🥰 Blue thunder’s assets are so incredible well made & he’s a champ for putting them all together 👌🏻
Wonderful build! Great job! Maybe a Post Sorting Facility in the Airport “Industrial” Area might not go amiss. Night time shots with the CBD in the background were amazing :)
Hey Egg you should add warning lights on top of the mountain to let pilots know of the dangers that there is a mountain there as quite often they would do that as a safety measure so it is lit up at night and it is usually red warning lights so it alerts pilots that there is something with high elevation with in the flight path 😊
30:03 i am loving this build so much! ❤ (not even half way in the video lol) every airport build you make makes me wanna get the airport dlc myself just so i could try to finesse the art like you 😅 maybe an open air mall/tourism area on that little hill area with the metro station before the airport? add some hotels in there too
In addition to the convention centres, if you've still got some space it might be good to add one or more sports stadiums since they'd be able to benefit from the transport links you've already built in the area.
at 50:34, I don't think the dedicated left lane turning into the airport activated. Might just be me. Regardless, brilliant and inspiring as always. Keep them coming, Mr Egg.
Now thats an airport ✈️ Very nice work, such a chilled episode to wind down from work with. Shoutout to BlueThunder too, those airplane props are awesome!
That approach over the mountains looks like it could get a bit hairy :D (EDIT: Especially with the road and terminal buildings right near the tips of the runway -- the light standards on the road in particular are a hazard, as are the plane gates directly in the approach path)
I think a medical school/college that has a monorail to a major hospital in the area would be a cool addition. They had one for years here in indianapolis that really became a major defining part of the town
awesome plane graphic and music. Here a question with a challenge, I think one of the terminals comes with under ground rail. What if you used that terminal without connecting any planes to the the terminal but instead used the rail to transport to multiple terminals which are not connected to any roads or other outside transportation services ? Love your work.
Egg 🤝 airports! Though I don’t remember seeing any fire stations, and also could you add a crossing on the road outside the outer lying metro station by the Harbour Bridge so people can cross the road at the tram stops
Egg with cities skylines 2 being a mess at the minute , can we expect a similar desert series like ILOS in tried and tested cities skylines 1 much just like THESSIA? Also , a big fan of yours 🖤🖤🖤🖤. Out of all your works ILOS is the best . Want to see another phenomenal desert build like ILOS. Love you mate.
Flood lights on the steel fences of the smaller airport next to the road... over head tram services and Underground tube services... Fire Department with water Tank outside the airport.
i use thessia uploads as my sign that my weekend has started
Happy Friday 😊
I hope you never stop uploading thessia videos!
24:25 -- "Fantastic"
Ferry: *yippee dive*
That plane design is sensational. BT never disappoints!
OE says he will bring the episode to an end then continues for some solid 18 mins.
Thank you for sharing your creativity.

What does CBD stand for in Egg lingo?
That's not Egg Lingo actually. It's short for Central Business District, also known sometimes as 'Downtown'. Usually an centrally located area of a city with high rising towers and high land value.
For ideas around the airport, there are "rival" casinos around Darling Harbour in Sydney. As well as parks, and offices.
Such a wonderful addition to Thessia! The tram turnouround is for right-hand driving though 😂

Such a great looking airport, and wow the look of it with the CBD in the back is just magnificent. Those planes from BlueThunder are just epic! 10/10
Looking great. It was a longer video but you put SO much work into it. It was worth every minute. 🤩

Speachless OE, amazing might have to watch it again for a Saturday night movie! Just to recap on the bits I missed! ❤❤
Such an amazing episode! That skyline behind the airport is such a beautiful backdrop! Amazing work!

I can’t remember why we called it the Pototally Beautanical Gardens but it makes me laugh every time I see it.
Someone else in chat that day was talking about growing potatoes I think. Why? Who knows. 🥔🥔🥔
@@joshinioI think so, its lost knowledge now

So great to take inspiration from! Never been able to make the 2 story terminal work nicely

Omg those planes are so so cool, absolutely love this so much, and music on top form as always. I love how you bring together what you create ❤❤❤❤

The detailing songs are a vibeeeeee 😎 this airport is going to get insanely busy, I can't wait to see the ants marching around this place!
Now thats an airport ✈️ Very nice work, such a chilled episode to wind down from work with. Shoutout to BlueThunder too, those airplane props are awesome!
24:26 anyone noticed that boat jumping under the bridge 😂
Great, pristine, ethereal; it makes me cherish Thessia for eternity 😂😂❤ why are you so good Egg? Why :)
Thank you 😊

That was a long time coming. Very pleased with the result. Thanks Blue Thunder. Those planes look amazing. Very impressed!
This airport... 😍
I'm in love!
I'm sure some plane spotters would love a nature reserve walk on that mountain as the planes come in to land
I think a medical school/college that has a monorail to a major hospital in the area would be a cool addition. They had one for years here in indianapolis that really became a major defining part of the town
Great airport! I wonder if the bridge has anything to do with the flood in the beginning lol!
Not a fan of the Airport DLC, but I do enjoy watching you use it to its best advantage. Thanks!
Which was your favourite? Thank you!
very nice only hope theres no disasters you forgot the fire services .apart from that another masterpiece.
Incredible airport build. Love it! Thank you 👏🏻👏🏻
Thanks Jess 🙂
Yaaay, the airport is here!!!! ✈
Thank you bro ❤

Was eagerly waiting for this build , your videos are just awesome 🎉
Thank you, thats very kind of you!
All the flooding is very on theme with current event, I just didn't expect to find floods in Thessia.

At the Junction plz add some farms
Hey Egg! Is it possible to build a water park with sliders and floating river and stuff? I don't think I ever saw one! Cheers mate! 😉❤
FewCandy built one in her Solitude build. It’s really impressive
Oh thanks mate! I'll check it out then..👍🏻
wow, not directly related to this video, but I just found out that Eggborough is real place in England 🤯
Those planes really are lovely. What are the plans for the big central mountain?
How about a modded Olympic village / sporting area? this airport is massive! I would 100% lose my car in the car park!
There are stairs in IMT now? Amazing
Hey nice Build
Hell yeah 💫looks so big on the thumbnail tho 😭
Big old jumbo boys ✈️😂
THESSIAIR!
Is it sticking yet? 🤣
awesome build. 👍👍
Let's go!
Amazing stuff!
Huge build!!! Nice one Egg
HUGE Shoutout to * Blue Thunder * 💙⛈
I think you forgot at the terminal roads that your LHD 😂
Nice!
Flood lights on the steel fences of the smaller airport next to the road... over head tram services and Underground tube services... Fire Department with water Tank outside the airport.
🇦🇺 ✈️
It would be great to connect terminal 2 with terminal 1 with a bus or tram. And there is no public transportation to the terminal 2.
❤❤❤❤❤ 💙💙💙🌩
Did I miss an airport fire station?
Anno 1800?
