This is such a gorgeous painting! I love the texture of magnetite; I recently got a pan and am now even more excited to try it out! Thank you for sharing

Wonderful! You'll have to tell me how you've been using your magnetite, because I don't see a lot of people using them and I'm curious! I'm glad this could help!

More to come! I finally got a new computer and I have so much videos footage from previous years! I may only be able to post every couple of weeks since editing is not my forte but I am hoping to post more pleinair sessions this summer! Glad you enjoy!

I love your painting of this tree! Trees are no longer your nemesis! Have a look at Pierre Bonnard's "The Almond Tree in Blossom" I think you will like it. I love black paint but never Ivory/Bone or any colors that contain, well....bones. I'm new here & glad to have stumbled on your marvelous tree!

Haha! Thanks! Unfortunately, trees and I have a long standing enmity. I find them beautiful and complex, they find me scared and overwhelmed. But I am not giving up! I will eventually stop feeling so much apprehension before tackling them! I shall one day make trees my bestest of friends and we will be happy ever after :P I find Ivory black underwhelming, at least in watercolour. I think one day I'll have to use it, since I think I have one tube of it lying around, but I'll need to come up with some type of method to use it that I will find interesting or inspiring or just plain useful, which at this time, I cannot think of! Thanks for the comment. I appreciate the encouragement :)
