Teen Called 911 to Beg for Help Before His Death in Van: 'I'm Going to Die Here'

  • "I probably don't have much time left, so tell my mom that I love her if I die." That was the heartbreaking plea from a teen who was trapped and dying in his minivan. Kyle Plush used Siri to call 9-1-1 not once, but twice, pleading for dispatchers to send help after he became trapped in the trunk well. Police were unable to find him and thought the call might be a prank. The 16-year-old died of suffocation. InsideEdition.com's Tara Lynn Wagner ( / taralynnwagner ) has the story. #InsideEdition

"huge" trouble doesn't happen to minors, unless their crime is atrocious and utterly remorseless they get the benefit of the doubt...they get a therapist not a jail sentence. it's time to evaluate how old kids should take responsibility , they're growing up far faster than the laws that protect them, some turn into murderers before age 20 and we wonder how this could possibly be....it's simple...no one cares at all. no one knows who they even live next door to anymore, and kids have zero respect for anyone until they're shown what disrespect costs them.

In the 2004 Honda Odyssey, the 3rd row seat can fold flat, and the seat folded flat on Kyle, trapping him upside down, and pinning him against the trunk door. The kid was trapped upside down and was compressed between under the seat and the trunk, making him unable to breathe. Given the physical position he was in, it was really hard for him to reach his phone, so he likely said "Hey Siri, call 911" and that's how he called 911.
