- Tour my empty DTLA apartment with me. 🌆 My dreams came true when I purchased my house in 2018, but work required me to be a little closer to the city, so I decided to rent my house and move to DTLA. As a single woman, I always aspire to have new experiences, and living in a high rise was one of the many experiences I was blessed to have. After almost three years living in DTLA, it was fun for the moment, but now I’m off to pursue new goals and create more memories in life! It’s so lovely. I would never be able to even visit friends who live in such lovely places because I’m scared of heights. 😂 When you went near the windows I had to close my eyes. I felt shaky even from my own bedroom. Good luck in your new adventure. 😍😁👍🏾

The windows in this apartment are pretty. I love natural light as well. But I was getting nervous seeing the views from up so high. Im curious to know where u will b residing next. Thanks for sharing your life with us Megz. Good video.

Will you eventually move back into your home? I remember being so excited about you decorating the house, the last thing I remember was those bar stools then you were gone lmao
Thank youuu! I'm not sure if I will be going back to my house anytime soon but I love always having the option to go back if I wish to and my tenants have been great! My next goal is to have multiple properties/rental properties.

LA is very deceptive. Beautiful fast paste downtown when you’re up high and in a complex like this . But we all know the homeless epidemic and after those two young black women got killed down there that’s scary. I live in downey n from LA

Would you be open to sharing the range regarding the cost of rent for apartments in your old building? I've been a homeowner for 13 years now in the Chicagoland area, but I've always been curious about the cost of rent in various cities.😊
Thank youuuu! It tends to depend on what city you're in within LA county so I would say this building was a bit more affordable for the size in DTLA. It also depends on the floor and the higher you get the more expensive so this layout ranged from $3000-$4800ish. Then you also have to pay an additional $200 a month for a parking garage space.
@ulovemegz WOW! With those kind of rent prices, I'm gonna stick with owning. LOL Although, I've always loved the idea of living in a high rise.🙃

At least you experienced ownership and went back to renting. Either way, you are still blessed especially in this economy. Anyway, continue to do beautiful things. Glad you are moving out of California. It was dead anyway.

Heeeey! It was pretty expensive but every city within LA is a bit pricy but I would say DTLA wouldn't be somewhere that I'd consider again for the price 🥴😂
