This was nice to see! Very informative. You made a good point about the reality vs perception of downtown. You’ve lived in LA, so ya insight was appreciated.🔥🔥🔥
Thank you so much! I was aiming for just that and I’m glad it was received well. Yay lol I never want to tear down LA but the truth is the truth. The city needs help.
I’m getting dizzy watching you spin through the Van Nuys apt. Stand still shots that are really zoomed out make it easier to get a good view of the apartment
Noted! Lol thank you for watching and I’ll keep you posted for sure. I have to see if I found some worth looking at 🤣 bc parking, etc, will be astronomical 👀
Ouuuu okay okay. I love how everyone picked differently. My fav was the one with the den. The last one was loud and off camera you can tell they renovated it without having a keen eye if you know what I mean lol but yessssss I’m going to keep looking and prepare myself to buy. 😍☺️
Fellow Chicago Girl. DO NOT move to DTLA. I was there at a friend from Chicago's house watching fireworks on the 4th of July in the hot tub when an unhoused man scaled and flung himself over the gate and basically bathed in the hot tub and pool. Don't do it girl. It's not worth it.
Hi Skyyye!!! One of your fans here! Im all the way in Florida but have always dreamed of the west coast but the prices I see so far are quite scary 😵 Oh my goodness! 2,300 a 1bed 1 bath !! ahhhh!!!
Awww thank you again for being a supporter. So glad we got to chat on the live play lol I for sure need to check out Florida. 🫶🏾 and yes LA prices are horrendous 🫠 I’ve given that city way too much money lol
@@skyehendon Florida is not that far behind. I am from south Florida which is the best part of Florida period but you will deal with tropical bi-polar weather a lot, humidity, and high cost in rent then low paying jobs. Florida is beautiful but it’s a place you come to after you have wealth established tbh but it’s still a melting pot, lots to do, and you’re never bored unless you pick to do so.
@@Wealthismybirthright I love this comment. I have to agree. I lived in ATL and went to college down south. The low pay equates to the lower cost of living. I'd only move once my business is more profitable. That's for sure. What's your fav city in South Florida?
@Wealthismybirthright @skyehendon ewww south Florida is way too crowded I guess it depends on your personality and wants in life. I'm on a cute little island in North Florida and I LOVE IT HERE. The weather never gets as bad as South Florida. South FL is cute for visiting but living is a no for me. We love our charming town, beautiful quiet beaches and shopping is the same as anywhere else in Florida. My husband works from home so Pay isn't an issue at all. I guess it all depends. I love that I can vlog and it's not too chaotic around where I am too.
My friend just moved from there, she lived there for 3 years. It’s close to a lot of things and they are building lots of new modern apartments for the younger crowd.
I never left Cali. I just left LA. My old penthouse is rented actually and when I lived there they tried to charge me over 2700 and that’s ridiculous lol and then they turned around and rented it for 2500 once I left. So I no longer want to pay that much for a rental. I’d rather own a condo and pay a mortgage 😆
@@skyehendon oh ok gotcha, i thought you had moved to Chicago. Yeah rent is getting ridiculous. Seems like they rather have it empty than charge a fair amount or keep renting it good tenant that pays on time and doesn’t have any problems.

Great video! I would love to see a video on downtown LA if you don't mind because I know its rough lol

Girl yessss! That happens a lot in LA!! And I’m not into DTLA, I love the valley. But thanks for sharing lol more people need to see this comment lol

Personally, I would never live in Florida. The prices are not too bad for Los Angeles.

Great video very informative, love LA
Same but love hate lol! Glad you enjoyed it!
1 bed 2 bath + a den for $2360 seems like a steal in Cali I’m commenting this before I see the inside tho 😂
lol it was for sure
@@InspiredByEbonyLove it is a steal for California because California is very expensive. A studio around me in cali is that price 🤷🏽♀️
@@msalohakittyinsane
I’ve lived in the valley and Reseda is pretty far West in the Valley.
Yes west & north
2300 for the first run down smell bad place? ewww i bet they had bugs too
I’d pass out 😂😂 bc for that price I shouldn’t ever see Spider-Man
Nice
😊 thank you
Why do you think that vacancies for one bedroom/1 bathrooms is a red flag?
Did I say that? 🤔 maybe it was an edit and I skipped a part bc idk I don’t think that way.
“ expressway “? Where are you from? Midwest or East Coast?
Midwest 😂😂😂 you west coast?
