    But here's the thing... "it's just a chemical process".... yeah, and the normal experience of sober reality is also, objectively, nothing but a chemical process, psychedelics alter the chemical process of your brain, they alter your reality. So if your perception of reality is dependent on chemical processing in the brain to make you visualize things ("hallucination") and hear things and experience all of these sensations, how is sober reality any less of a "hallucination" than the reality you experience on a psychedelic? They are both clearly the product of chemical processes in the brain. How could anyone say that this reality is real, but the other realities aren't real?

      i tried kinda small doses of shrooms boosted with weed. Amongst other crazy happenings, I saw very realistic animal like creatures and some other weird stuff.
      Depending on those "animals" in that one trip i didnt see the whole "screen" of it. Just like a window where i saw just a part of em mostly. Most were moving, some not. Most of them seemed to be huge, others like watched through a microscope.
      One time i saw a tulip similar thing where the most outside layer of it kinda moved around itself. I dont remember that good, but i saw that on the whole "screen" amongst a few others. Like squares flashing and moving all over the "screen" for a few seconds with open eyes.
      For me, most of that felt like my brain is creating that, because the feeling was very sync to what i saw. Hard to describe.
      Except a few times, like when i heared children singing out of nowhere on about 2am. I didnt understand them tho, but i was kinda amused because of the randomness. Crazy stuff overall.
      As i said those were kinda small doses but im pretty sure DMT is the same princip, just on a much higher lvl, where all that feels different, since u are in there then and not watching through a window. right?
      Maybe i have the balls to try DMT one day. I will let u know if i should change my opinion then. lol

      Yeah, that's right! While our perception of the world is definitely isomorphic to the objective physical world, that still leave a lot of room for us to give that perception color and character, as long as the language is consistent.

    The “elves” can be such a great experience. One time I was being flown through these sort of very grand halls, with somewhat Egyptian/Indian design, that would then open up into a sort of ampitheater, then back into another hall. As i was going through them, i was flying above them, and on the ground were *thousands* of entities all down the line. As i would pass over them, they would “shout” out words to me (such as *i love you*) and i wouldn’t “hear it,” but rather the word would travel through the air and hit me in the chest, and i would feel the exact feeling that was the word itself. Them saying “i love you” would hit me with an overwhelming feeling of love, etc... It was one of the greatest experiences I’ve had. And then as it was all coming to an end, i finally reached the end of all these halls/ampitheaters I’d been flying through, and as i came out the other side my “body” turned around to face the exit, and a jester came sliding down from the top of the hall, swinging down on a large zipper that zipped shut over the hall to close it. I’ll never forget the look on the jester’s “face” as he came down that zipper. It gave me this sort of laughing-at-me look that very specifically seemed to say, “yes, i know you just witnessed the most incredible thing you’ve ever seen, but your time’s up, so good luck remembering it!” While i can remember these bits and pieces, the full experience is missing 99% of detail. Never have had a similar experience to that one since, but wow it was incredible. I’ve never experienced seeing anywhere close to that amount of entities in one experience. I always seem to encounter a few each time, but that time there were *thousands*. Hopefully can experience that many again someday!

      A decent account. I've never had a DMT experience but have had a few dreams where I experienced the same sort of challenge as yours. In one I was in a room with a few other people. We seemed to be all semi-drugged and in another dimension/place. I spoke/thought to the person next to me and asked him where the hell we were. He replied with a shoulder shrug and said "I'm not sure but wherever it is we'll never remember it when we awaken." I told him I'd try hard to and which I did. That dream was quite lucid and clear and was some 20 years ago. Still remember.

    holy shit; I had the exact same experience that he's describing at around the 4:00 minute mark... the whole aspect of the beings saying "look at this!" then making something appear out of nowhere but manifest something so incredibly beautiful yet so strange, because it defied all conventions of physics and reality. The main being who manifested things with his hands and said "look at this" was called The Trickster, he wasn't dressed up like a jester in the traditional sense but he very much could be interpreted as a jester type character. Instead, The Trickster had the appearance of The Tramp, the Charlie Chaplin character -- he had a bowler had a cane, and was always doing a funny little dance, directing me through different doors and showing me stuff / teaching me. The Trickster was usually always there to welcome me to "God's Waiting Room" -- I don't know where I got this name I just knew it was called God's waiting room, just as I knew The Trickster was The Trickster. Also, I met other beings who were much more cartoon-like, fuzzy, cuddly and cute. Those beings kept saying -- just as Joe describes it -- "I looooooveeee you," and they would say "we're so happy that you're finally here!" And they would march in a procession across a room and release all these symbols of love, like rainbows and peace signs and balloons floating into the air with the letters L - O - V - E on the bottom of the balloon string. Crazy... and so creepy how similar / exactly the same my experience was. If it's created by the mind, how can two separate individual minds with totally different life experiences have the same exact experience if it is self created? It's impossible I'd say.

      I never told anyone for years because, well...
      Then when I was in my late 30's my mum was talking to me about when she was little and she said once as a little girl she saw a little gnome like creature, I was stunned and of course told her my experience.

    I had my first experience a couple of days ago and afterwards I immediatly reported that I was guided by a friendly harlequin figure through crystal domes, while others were around giggeling about but in a completly benevolent way. It was like my guide was trying to help me navigate myself in this dimension and when I was starting to fall out of it through some kind of membrane, they we're and kindly suggesting letting go and greeting me farewell.
    I have never heard about "machine elves" or the likes befor, just about meeting your ancestors or some entities, but hearing all those reports now really leaves me in awe.

    Im only like a minute in and I just wanted to point something out on the topic of it being "real" or "imagined". And that is something Terence said - he said something like: I know for a fact this is not my imagination because there is no way that I could be ABLE to imagine these things in any way shape or form.
    Granted there is a somewhat valid point that we do not exactly understand our own brains and how certain things work, so it still might be "imagined" or triggered purely in some part(s) of the brain which we do not understand as of yet. But I think its a very valid point that to a large degree we can say with certainty that our concious and subconcious mind is not able to come up with some of the things you experience in these states.

      XXTALEN It really is interesting to think about. As I'm someone who hasn't tried such substances yet.. But if it's true it gets released when we dream, then I couldn't say how real or imaginative it is. Maybe a mixture of both. Maybe what we learn (even if it gets stored in our subconscious), is presented back to us in such states.
      But I remain open to the possibility of it being at least partially real (100% a real experience of course, but what we call spiritually, I'm unsure). I do have some personal sober experiences that leave me speechless in a true spiritual or other dimensional reality concept. Things that I cannot explain within reason of our percieved physical reality. Had many dreams that showed the present or future to me before I was aware of it. And it happened right before my eyes while I was awake afterward... So I don't doubt the possible reality of it.
      Even with only weed. I've experienced some other dimensional worlds. Visited some entity that was made out of universe. And they shared such a feeling with me. I felt the power of a universe coursing within my body. I visited hell, my soul completely on fire, Met some alien being with its claws around my throat.
      Tho..... maybe my weed was laced. XD or I'm just way more sensitive to it than others (not as much now that I smoke it more, but when I started... holy crap). Maybe I have some disorder I wasn't aware of before.
      But these experiences I had.. makes me wonder if I should even try DMT. XD or even shrooms. But still drawn to the possibility. Just witing for the moment it feels right.

    Jung's theory of the unconscious describes the purpose of the unconscious as a compensatory point of view to that of the conscious outlook. So if you're conscious outlook tends to be fogged by depression, then the unconscious will adopt the opposite outlook of positivity. Of course, maybe you can't sum up your entire 'conscious outlook', but if you have a bad day, then your unconscious (according to Jung) will give you dreams that try to balance out your bad day. So I wonder if the reason DMT entities can go from being angry jesters to happy and dancing beings filled with love/light is because they change depending on your own conscious mind's current outlook, thereby presenting your conscious mind with the thing it needs most to balance out it's one sided perspective, thereby making you more objective because you have in mind not just your own point of view, but also the opposite point of view as well, giving you a broader perspective that allows you to test your own ideas about the world and yourself against the fire of doubt

    A lot of the people in these comments just don’t get it..Psychedelics shows you a state of egolessness. Ram Dass gave lsd to a guru in India, who didn’t feel anything, but said that it reveals to you what it is like to be in Jesus-nature or Buddha-nature. The reason people have bad trips is because they go in with their ego
    I have experienced the most beautiful intricate things when I actively try to let go of my ego, and some scary visuals whenever I bring up me ego or sense of self. Even Aldous Huxley said (about lsd), when he tried it numerous times in the 60s-70s that “in the final stages of egolessness, [he] came to the profound realization that love is all there is” and that “all of the other experiences were merely side shows”
    Even Zen warns against making interpretations or meanings or attachments out of the imagery that comes up during meditation. That’s what things like Buddhism teach us... that the “self” is an illusion

    • @ms.chanandlerbong2548
      @ms.chanandlerbong2548 6 років тому +6

      Yeah, lsd shows us what it's like to be in that state. And it is supposed to be a teacher of how we can change our behaviour in day to day life moving forward through our understanding of karma. That's where the hippies went wrong. We're not supposed to absolve responsibillity, but come to a place of love and forgiveness for all beings, and serve others in our own ways
      love you too

      Ms. Chanandler Bong you expressed it as perfectly as words allow. My experiences with lsd have been profound beyond any description. The complete absence of any type of fear of anything whatsoever. And the dissolving of the self.

    • @apostolosmavropoulos177
      @apostolosmavropoulos177 6 років тому

      Hi there Ms Bong, everything you say is quite right and has happened to me also..but be aware that only when you loose your ego, are you ready to accept things...psychedelics could also be called ''suggestion-gens'' as they bring you to a state where suggestions are much easier to be accepted. You should also keep in mind that Aldous Huxley and his family (Huxleys) were close friends and cooperated numerous times with the Darwins (Charles Darwin's family were well known scientists and doctors) that were also into eugenics and ''philanthropy'' . These guys (and many other like T.Leary (CIA) & Gordon Wasson) were-are contributing on bringin' forth the new world order, working with secret-occultic intelligence agencies all sprouting from the Royal institution of london and Fabius society. Love is the ''moto'' of the new age ...But Love takes sacrifice....when you truly love someone , that means that you have ''splitted' your heart and now you are '' synchronized - like a hive mind n.w.o - cloud I.O.T ''' with the feelings of your beloved ones. He/She is sad then you become sad.. he/she is in pain , then you are in pain also.. So when you place Love in the highest order of a society without biologicall family (family in the new world order is the state---you see it coming right??) you have everyone so ready to accept anything. i hope i gave you food for thought. Take care!

    Being embraced , being shown wonderful objects (Mckenna even quotes 'after being shown these beautiful objects its like being in an alien child nursery'), being fed things, syntax languages being absorbed...

    I remember my first break through extremely well, was nothing like what everyone says. I was by myself in my room in the dark, I remember holding it in as long as I could and once I let it go I fell back into my bed. I looked around everything around me was so bright even though it was dark, I had to close my eyes I remember seeing fractals but everything came together to a blob spinning and spinning forming to a fetus spinning and forming more and more growing through it's life span to an gray alien type creature laying there. As my trip came down I realized my view in that moment was me overlooking my own body laying on the bed.

    I am curious to what visuals a person whom does not have the same cultural experience or have the same idea of what a jester or elf is. I’m curious to what their interpretation is. For example someone from South America or Africa who doesn’t have or doesn’t use technology or speak the same language or have knowledge of western history and ancient lore of western countries (European specifically).

    • @aijapastare7051
      @aijapastare7051 5 років тому +9

      I'm curious too; however, the jester cannot be attributed only to western cultures. The jester (joker, trickster, fool, comedian, etc.) is an archetype of the collective conscious, which is shared among all human beings. They probably might see something slightly different, depending on their culture, but the archetypal interpretation would probably be the same.

    • @erins.5420
      @erins.5420 5 років тому

      Aija Pastare exactly! I’m curious to other cultures experience down to the descriptions and what or if they can be correlated or can find experiences in common. Just like my lack of knowledge in many other cultures I’m curious to the experiences from their perspective to see if their experience mirrors ours or if ours mirrors theirs....vice versa.

    • @EternityGray
      @EternityGray 5 років тому +1

      It's not so much that it is the joker per say. Human language does not apply in that mindstate. There is an innate intuitive understanding of what you are looking at and feeling. In complete seriousness it's possible that the "elves" or jesters or what have you don't have physical form when you look at them but one can somehow tell the energy is part of the same force. It's impossible to convey the experience but what happens when we try is we approximate things to the closest meaning we can possibly fit into words.

    What we consider to be "reality" is only just a matter of context. When we're awake, this is our "reality". When we're asleep and dreaming, the dream is our "reality" and we don't think of it in any other way until we "wake up" and reflect on what we just experienced. Think of it this way: If you were stuck in a dream and couldn't wake up, maybe because your physical body died or you were in a coma, that would then become your "reality" going forward. It wouldn't be as boring as this world is but it would be your reality. No one ever said that reality has to be boring.

    The jester. I swear to God I thought I was the only one. He saw several though inside his head, but mine was a single jester outside in the physical world; in the woods I was in with my two buddies. Strongest DMT trip of my life for sure, but not the most beautiful and unfortunately, not profound. Just incredibly potent. It was cool though. Once the strongest part wore off and I could move, I just got up and started running through the woods, moving a million miles per hour. Total tunnel vision with everything passing my periphery with the "vwoom" sound you'd see in a movie. I then stopped and looked back to where one of my friends were. He jumped up in the air and did kind of like a whole body wave. The reverberations from that one movement moved out as far as I could see and shook the sky. The crazy part, is that at this point, I felt sober compared to where I just was a minute or two earlier. Absolutely incredible experiences this chemical can produce. Everyone should try it at least a few times. I believe that as much as I believe anything else in this world. Aaaaannnd I'm rambling.
