- A warm-up is a crucial part of every sport, especially in badminton. Badminton is an intense sport and one of the fastest racket sport. Without a proper warm-up, the chances to get injured are higher than usual.
By doing proper warming up session before the match, one can prevent injuries; it helps to stretch the muscles and joints, it increases heart rate and flexibility. It also helps to improve your performance and readiness on the court. I played a match.....i didn't do warm up... I had a good play but suddenly at the middle of the second game my right hand shoulder badly hurt..... I was unable to compete.... Lost the match from (21-13) to (14-21)(12-21) guys a nice warm up is pretty important
