Sea Shanty Shanghaied Harmony Original Song by largethanks

This video is dedicated to my Uncle Brad.
This is the first time I’ve ever tried to put words to music.
I tried to write a song from the 1800s.
The message of the song is designed to express the feelings of a crew of men that were “Shanghaied”.
Being Shanghaied was the end of many men’s lives. By the time they would return home, their lives would essentially be over. Being missing for months or even years, most of their family thought they had died or just simply disappeared.
