The staff got paid. A lot of people. Success isn't always what it appears to be. There are a lot of people involved in these projects behind the scenes. It's a win win imo.
Big respect for all the people working on NG rocket science is no walk in the park. I get that rocket development philosophies are different in companies and that is what makes all this awesome. Its a great time to be alive and witness all these efforts, wishing them all the best when the rocket finally launches.....
Hey Tim, even tho i watched this on replay an hour behind live & new it was a scrub i still watched all the way thru becuese of all the hard work i know you & your team put into making these . I learn something every time from you even though i have been a lifelong space nerd & its a pleasure hearing your wealth of knowledge on space flight & its physics. Keep up the fantastic work & make sure you find time for yourself in all this to avoid burn out, i know myself from being a successful world renowned sound engineer how easy it is to do to many things at once for to long & not notice, it creeps up on you then bam before you know it your in bed for a week. Thanks for your time & devotion to the space community & of course this coverage of Blue origins New Glenn, better a safe scrub & another go at flight than a big mess & no launch vehicle . See you next time round for hopefully a successful test flight from the guys & girls at BO, all the best from the UK.
Tim youre the best. Been with you since you had like 3k subs. ❤ i feel your vibe working hard on videos while people think nothing is happening. This is so much work indeed. Love it!!
This is one of the reasons why the fly early and often approach is better. All issues, even down to sensor failures, can be worked out. Also staff can be trained on procedure and equipment confidence remains high. This was their first launch, a scrub was the most likely outcome.
Sucks that you had to stay up for a dud although I know it’s nice talking with fans hopefully the next one is far more exciting and we see it go finally. Thank you Tim I hope the rest of the day goes far better!

The Swedish saying: "Shy boys never get to kiss pretty girls" just came to my mind. C'mon Blue Origin: you've taken years, months and days to prepare this. Just do it. "Why don’t you fix your little problem and light this candle?"
i get it that there are problems that cause reasons to abort but i think half of the ad revenue from all participating channels should be donated to a children's hospital or some other worthy charity
Is this a 3-hour video of somebody not launching a rocket? Do you literally think that I want to give up 3 hours of my life watching a video of nothing happening? You should literally be ashamed of yourself
"Safe cheap reliable space travel" remains as much a fiction today as it did 150 years ago, in the time of Jules Verne. And is likely to remain so for another 150 years 😲
If we compare cost, a flight mission with a SpaceX rocket today is up to 97% cheaper than a Soyuz flight in the 60's. The payload cost with a Delta Heavy rocket in 2004 was 600% more expensive than the payload cost of a Falcon Heavy today, 20 years later. Space travel is still very much in its infancy but cost cutting has rapidly increased. It's only a matter of years before it's cheap enough to where it'll cost the same as sending a container ship around the world.
It is possible already with SpaceX’s Falcon 9 to make spaceflight cheaper. That is why Mark Rober can afford to launch a little Satellite e.g. Blue Origin and SpaceX’s Star Ship are just the next step to decrease the price even further.
Can we give a hats off to Tim. He's always here, even if it's 2AM on a vacation? He's awesome. I really appreciate his coverage and thoughts.
TLDR; Nothing happened
Waste of time
Blue Origin being useless, what else is new

@@Firebolt193 hahaha too true
Blue Origins main product.

lmao didn't expect another scrbb from Blue Origin, shocked!😲😆

When I see something like that I always have to remember SLS’s problems and scrubs. Unfortunately I think this wasn’t the last scrub.
Thanks for all the commentary. it made the waiting a lot better, even though NG scrubbed in the end.
I had to leave for an hour an 20 mins as it turned out and back and scrubbed. Thanks Tim from Perth Western Australia.

The workers are happy at Blue Origin. That's something.
😂
The Blue Balls strike again
Blees you Tim. There for us... Space Nerds....
The 3 hour launch window should be closing at 4 am according to the original launch time.
Lets go SpaceX SS7!
Blue Origin's New Glenn rocket first flying my opinion after 1 month.
Now fully committed to Starliner mode.
This is classic Jeff bozo’s blue origin. 24 years, billions of dollars , hundreds of amazing engineers and still haven’t made orbit.
Starship all day, every day. ❤
They will be past the launch window @ 4:00 am eastern time.
Developing a new rocket cant be easy but 5 years of delays is second best at the best!
What did they say after StayTuned?
Blue Origin's motto, "gradatim ferociter," or "step by step, ferociously" in Latin
Is that gin fever gonna take off all I ever hear is new Glen delayed
To be fair spacex also moved their launch but to Wednesday
I mean, it has already been at least 2 decades without much info, what another few more yea- I mean, days?
No. Decades is correct.

I don’t want no scrubs.
Tim did ninja worrior/tricking??
Scrubbing the launch is OK, but no information at all from Blue Origin while delaying the countdown several times is not OK. I won't watch next time.
I'm sure you'll be missed. 🤣
just watch the replay like me.
Blue Origin is not ready for prime time. Do they not know that the new launch time is out of the launch window buy 30 minutes.
A brid that is the brid if it can't fly it won't you need a new one
They just want to live up to their name, but only launching once in a blue moon. Having just checked, like like that'll be May 31, 2026 lol
The Swedish saying: "Shy boys never get to kiss pretty girls" just came to my mind. C'mon Blue Origin: you've taken years, months and days to prepare this. Just do it. "Why don’t you fix your little problem and light this candle?"
Blue origin is sub par!
Save you some time. It didn't happen :)
Edit: if you missed reading thr title, as i did.
START
The amount of bigoted comments in the live chat was very disappointing 🤨
i get it that there are problems that cause reasons to abort but i think half of the ad revenue from all participating channels should be donated to a children's hospital or some other worthy charity
It nevers happen :)
Gradatim Ferociter! Jeff Bozos.
As I correctly surmised...much ado about nothing.
Is this a 3-hour video of somebody not launching a rocket? Do you literally think that I want to give up 3 hours of my life watching a video of nothing happening? You should literally be ashamed of yourself
Tim cannot control that. Either the launch could have happened or not like it was today. Welcome to spaceflight….
Brian is in a Hurry ... Whatever dude.... keep yapping .
