Completely on their own. They used several small "hoppers" in the early 2000s and then New Shepard to test out their landing and navigation software. They then took their time refining it over dozens of New Shepard launches before adapting it to New Glenn. They started this before SpaceX even flew the Falcon-1. BO is taking the slower, more methodical approach to reusability.

SINCERELY PETER
gotta love the ai voice :(
also its very old glenn from all the delays
Is the voice AI?
It sounds really weird, so it might be
Just because it sounds a little weird, doesn't mean it's AI. People make mistakes too.
@@TonyChan-eh3nz I know, I said it might be. It sounds weird in an AI way
Can somebod please explain if they develpoed the technolgy to land on their own of they acquired the technolgy from spacex or how does it work?
they all develop it on their own. based on the same principles.. but with their own engines, hardware and software.
They already had the technology. New Shepard landed before Falcon ever did
Best wishes!
This animation shows ULA's vibe in its best. 😊
I hope Blue Origin picks up the pace!
No industry stays healthy without strong competition in the long run.
I hope it goes well
Video is nice to watch it looks sustainable vehicle, !what about payload fairings and second stage engine are they recoverable and reusable?!
They do have reuseable fairings and second stages in the works
@TonyChan-eh3nz good to know because space flight is expensive, so in order to achieve some cost benefits the people in the space industry have to achieve some sustainable practices like re usability of the vehicles and other components, otherwise there will be maximum damage for our ecological balance ⚖️ innovative solutions for protecting the environment at the same time achieving the technological advancements are big challenges.
Good luck Blue Origin! More access to space is better for everyone.
sounds good. Let's light this candle.
Anyone knows who did the CGI animation?
Blue following the footsteps of Starship by also having a scrub during 1st launch attempt just like ift1
For the same reason too
@leo_is_a_baka Well, they didn't really give us a reason so...
What happens to the second stage after deployment?
How long does your garbage float in space?
you are atempting to do all things right from the forst time!, this will be very very interesting.
i have a qustion: is 2th stage reusable?
no
not right now. but they do have patents for a reusable upper stage called "Jarvis". but not confirmed whether that will actually be built or not.
2th? 🤣🤣
Nope
@@TheGrumpyEnglishmanI noticed 🤣
Isn't CGI animation wonderful? These are getting really old. Just light the thing already and be honest in what is said in your live broadcasts. Get really brave and enable LIVE chat in your live streams for launches for a change!!
i love the fact the i was one of the first 79 people that watched the video when it was unlisted 🤣
