You can get it on just the crust but it’s also good on the whole pizza! Plus, it makes the pizza way better than it normally is.

Little Caesars (and Dominos) started in Detroit. Little Caesar’s HQ is still there. Their Detroit-style is similar to other regional chains in the area. (Jets and Papa Romanos) None of them are exactly like the original, Buddys.
To be fair, I feel like if you ask most people in the Detroit area what defines a Detroit style pizza they would say square and caramelized crust but if you ask most people outside of Michigan they would say square and tomato sauce on top. Not that people from Michigan dismiss the sauce being on top, its just that the reason I get Detroit style pizza is becuase a corner piece of a good Detroit style pizza can't be beat. It's not because I'm like oh the sauce on top makes it so much better.
@@ericburton5163 (detroit native here) I don’t care where you put the sauce but if the crust isn’t caramelized because the cheese doesn’t go to the ends i’m asking for my money back lol.
In the US I’ve always seen cheese pizza as any American style greasy cheese pizza but a Margherita pizza is always a traditional thin crust with blobs of mozzarella I think it comes down to the cheese and crust (but that’s just me)
Margarita pizza was named for a prominent Italian and should have the colors of the Italian flag (as was it's intention) the red tomatoes, white cheese and green, generally spinach, sometimes gree peppers.
Little Ceasars used to taste SO MUCH DIFFERENT when I was a kid. I'm 44 now. I live in a city of less than 60k, and back in the early 90's, Ceasars disappeared completely from my city. When it came back, not only was I surprised it was back at all (gone for like 15 or more years), but even MORE surprised how much it changed! Much cheaper costing AND tasting!! Litte Ceasers DEFINITELY dumbed themselves down so they could stay afloat!! Guess it worked. I have one a 1/4th mile from where I live, and do go there. It's not what I remember AT ALL, but it's cheap...and that can work when on a budget, for sure!!
I live in Detroit, and Detroit style pizza from Little Caesars lacks any form of flavor aside from any toppings you put on it. The one time it did I custom made it with garlic parmensan on it and was amazing! Any of the limited time pizzas are flavorful, but their standard menu items need some more seasonings on them ngl.
The Italian cheese bread is solid, but let's be honest you don't go to McDonald's for a really good burger and you don't go to little Caesars for a really good pizza. You go to little Caesars for a good pizza at a great price/quick meal.
Pepperoni Italian Cheese Bread and Old World Pepperoni both slap hard. Their hotnready Detroit Style is really good for the price, better than the regular, but if you are ordering ahead I would suggest doing the pep cheese bread instead. It uses the same cooking method to get crispy sides but the sauce being separate makes the flavor profile better.
Hearing Joe say he was nauseous reminded me why it's been 12 years since I had Little Caesars. Woke up with food poisoning the next morning and spent the day in urgent care.
US Little Caesars also has Pretzel Crust pizza (pretzel crust, cheddar cheese sauce, mozzarella & Muenster cheese) and it comes in Regular & Stuffed Crust
I would have expected Little Caesar's to open their first UK branch in an area with a high population of students not a random suburb in the East Midlands. (Students being probably more willing to sacrifice quality for cheapness especially after a night out drinking). There is another lesser known US pizza chain in the UK which is called Snappy Tomato pizza. But it looks like they are nowhere near Joe as most of the stores are in Kentucky, so I doubt we'll be seeing it on Food Wars unless they can find some other reasons to send Joe there.
Little Caesar’s quality has really taken a dive. Also didn’t know the price increase! Super jealous of the peri-peri seasoning! That sounds really good!
I work at Little Caesars and I can tell you why they're more expensive now. The cost of our ingredients have gone up quite a bit, especially the mozzarella we use. It's gotten so bad that I've seen some of my coworkers actually get in trouble for putting too much cheese on pizzas. Basically it costs us more to make them now so our prices had to go up to compensate.
Little Caesar's is that pizza you get when you're young, can't afford much, and think crappy stuff tastes OK. Develop a palate and it tastes like dog food.
Don’t forget about the PRETZEL PIZZA in the US!!! Instead of tomato sauce it’s liquid cheese and the crust is a pretzel 🥨 🍕 and the Detroit style pizza from little Caesars doesn’t even compare to local Detroit style it’s like comparing Taco Bell to authentic Mexican food
Extramostbestest is the superior version of their Classic hot-n-ready. The extra pepperoni is whatever, it's the extra cheese that really helps imo. I think it makes it actually decent cheap pizza, after hating on the classic for years.
People hate on little Cesar's like they didn't just buy a $6 pizza. When for $1.50 more it becomes a good pizza and for $8 you get a Detroit deep-dish and now you have a great pizza. No other pizza place competes with these prices. You could say digiorno but it's not cooked, you could say 7-11 but those are significantly worse.
As an american the US little caesars definitely looks better, but i definitely wish we had the portions like the uk because most people lets be fr will eat a whole pizza by themselves and look like my 600lb life. I stopped eating little caesars like a year ago because i use to eat it like twice a week and had an overall bad diet but, no that i stopped and eat at home, i save money and lost around 60lbs in that year
They shouldn't change it, they should just add a personal pizza. And not those combo boxes just the pizza. And price it in a way that makes you not feel like ur wasting money getting the smaller one instead of a full size. Not because of health (the customer is the only one that controls that) but because of convenience
As someone who actually works at Little Caesars, I can tell they messed up your extramostbestest pepperoni pizza lol. Looks like it has half the amount of the normal ones. Also I have no idea where you're getting "80% more pepperoni" from. We do add a little extra pepperoni to them, but 80%?? It's more like 15% at best.
Their Detroit style isn't as good as a true Detroit pizza, but it is the best pizza on their menu in my opinion. They do a good job of getting all the edges of the crust super crispy.
the last few times i’ve ordered it they didn’t get put the cheese all the way to the pan so it was just really thick, non-caramelized crust and it was so disappointing 🤣 I’d definitely say jets has the closest to detroit style pizza the most consistently lol
£5 for a 12" pizza is a bargain tbh. My local takeaway pizza place now charges a minimum of £8.40 for a 12" pizza, and that's for the margherita only. If you want anything on it? You're adding £1.5-£4 depending on toppings.
The us used to have a quatro pizza as well as a bbq smokwhouse pizza, the cuatro was 2 slices of diced marinated tomatos with seasoned sausage, 2 slices of pepperoni, 2 slices of cheese, and 2 sclices of pepp and sausage with italian seasoning sprinkled over it. The smokehouse bbq was bbq sauce base with pepp, ham, bacon, and brisket with a bbq drizzle and a bbq dry rub on the crust. Two of my favorites that i wish theyd bring back instead of the pretzel pizza theyve brought back 5 times... also the fresh mozzarella cheese one that i cant remember the name of.
I won’t defend their pizzas being attacked, but Crazy Bread Combos are one of my favorite breadsticks ever. If locations were closer to me, I might get that once a week instead of once every 2-3 mos. While their pizzas are so-so, I do also like the Detroit Style (formerly Deep! Deep! Dish) pepperoni.
When I was in my late teens and early 20s in desperate need of a treat and with absolutely no money to treat myself, Little Caesar's was a godsend. I'll always have a soft spot for LC because of that
Coming from Detroit, when I get Little Caesars deep dish, the cheese does come up to the edges because people in Detroit know what it’s supposed to look like. But when I get the same thing in other states, nope. Sometimes, it just looks like a lump of dough, no edges. Disappointing. I complained once and they just gave me a blank stare.
The Little Caesars classic pepperoni is my favorite pizza of any chain restaurants in the usa it's just what I think a pepperoni pizza should taste like.
a couple notes on the uk versions pizza is that one, ill tell you right now that has too much sauce on it and they undercooked it in the oven by the looks of it by at least over a minute thats why it doesnt look as good cheese and crust wise, it also looks like they didnt make sure the cheese was all over the pie before putting it in the oven, you can see where the parts are thicker and thinner. they use the same amount of cheese on every classic pie which means they didnt spread it around right. for anyone curious the type of cheeses they use is a mix of mozz and muenster, the dough is made fresh everyday.
I remember leaving a comment on the Lays/Walkers video about how Joe should do a Little Caesars video after eating the Fish and Chips chip and have something *slightly* better tasting, to which he responded, “yeah no thanks.” Joe, if you’re reading this, who’s laughing now?
Been waiting for this one, I'm a weirdo and whenever I eat something, I usually watch something about the food whether it be someone eating it or just talking about it, and everytime I get little ceasers I have no videos to watch along side it
US Little Caesars worker here, the extramostbestest pepperoni genuinely is a rip off for an extra dollar (that's how it is in my area), All you really get is a very small scoop of cheese over the pepperonis and 8 extra pepperonis... My advice just get a normal pizza, it'll save you a dollar
Best way to eat Little Caesars Pizza is after putting it in the fridge for the night and eating it cold. Might sound weird but try it, I got sick off Little Caesars Pizza when it was warm and I eat it cold now but I'll eat it from time to time warm
I don't normally eat cold pizza. Usually it's not very good like that, but occasionally the cold pizza just hits different and it's amazing. No idea why lol.
A true Detroit style pizza doesnt come with the sauce on top. It's just baked in a rectangle dish (HAS TO BE BLUE STEEL) and the cheese caramelizes on the sides forming that crust. Detroit styles dough is more focaccia like which gives it that spongy feel as LC is from Detroit. The pizza you are thinking of with a bit of sauce on the top is a version of Detroit Style called a Racing Stripe pizza! I'm a wife of a Detroit native and lived up in MI for 4 years. Best pizza around there is Buddy's and Jets.
Little Caesars has always been a get your pizza hot, fast, and cheap kind of place even 30 years ago you could order your pizza as you leave the door and as you walk up to Little Caesars it would be coming out of the oven yes Little Caesars almost never had any delivery service except in a few locations but that slowly ended until food delivery apps came about during covid
Plus it’s horrifyingly overpriced, which is surprising for a chain renowned in the US as being cheap. They’re charging £8-£10 for most of their supposedly “large” 12-inch pizzas, so this video is misleading. Papa Johns in the UK is overpriced but with discounts I can get a 13.5-inch large pizza for £10! The US are paying £5.40 for a 13.5-inch pizza by comparison!
I remember when I was younger that little caeser’s did a deep dish meatlover’s bacon wrapped pizza and I will never feel joy again until they bring it back
i used to work at lil caesars in high school , if u ask for “crazy all over” on the whole pizza , or just the slices or crust , they put the same butter and cheese from the breadsticks on whatever part of the pizza u want
3:18 We actually did have the Quattro about 4 years ago when I worked at Little Caesars. I don't think it's been back on the menu since then (because it wasn't very popular)

Basically it costs us more to make them now so our prices had to go up to compensate.
@@snausages43 growing up LC was one of my favorite pizza nights especially crazy bread
Little Caesar's is that pizza you get when you're young, can't afford much, and think crappy stuff tastes OK. Develop a palate and it tastes like dog food.
Maybe in ur location
Don’t forget about the PRETZEL PIZZA in the US!!! Instead of tomato sauce it’s liquid cheese and the crust is a pretzel 🥨 🍕 and the Detroit style pizza from little Caesars doesn’t even compare to local Detroit style it’s like comparing Taco Bell to authentic Mexican food
Happy Easter everyone! I hope to see a Diary Queen episode one day which I will wait extremely patient for.
When youre working out and this video pops up in feed. Damn temptation 😂
I genuinely want to know what happens to the food after they are done filming
It probably is eaten by Joe, Harry, or the production crew.
I was curious about that too. Maybe they donate some of it to homeless shelters etc
I believe anything untouched gets donated. Joe talks about it a couple times on his channel
Probably goes in the bin.
It comes out tomorrow in the toilet.
Food Wars comes through yet again. Happy Easter and happy Passover!
Better margins in UK business! Great video, thanks for sharing!
Hello from Chellaston next to Derby! Literally didn’t know Little Ceasers existed here until this video.
Maybe it's because the UK pizzas were sitting for a little while before shooting, but none of those pizzas looked appetizing 🙈
I didn't know the UK existed anymore? You learn something new everyday.
Great video! Keep up the good work!
£5 for a 12" pizza is a bargain tbh. My local takeaway pizza place now charges a minimum of £8.40 for a 12" pizza, and that's for the margherita only. If you want anything on it? You're adding £1.5-£4 depending on toppings.
And £2.00+ for delivery
Is crazy bread a bit like garlic bread
When I was in my late teens and early 20s in desperate need of a treat and with absolutely no money to treat myself, Little Caesar's was a godsend. I'll always have a soft spot for LC because of that
Ive said it once i will say it again little caesars is great when it’s fresh
Peri peri is not about the heat but the great flavor, glad you pointed it out
1:07 Probably the biggest difference in % in the whole series lmao.
Buddy's scale was off.
6:30 subtle dig there 😂.
Little Caesars and cinnabun. 2 famously well known brands in the UK 😂.
I’m British but once had Little Caesars in Turkey of all places lol and it was the best pizza I’ve ever eaten not gonna lie😂😂
it is my least favorite pizza here in the us. i cant force myself to think its an ok pizza.
a couple notes on the uk versions pizza is that one, ill tell you right now that has too much sauce on it and they undercooked it in the oven by the looks of it by at least over a minute thats why it doesnt look as good cheese and crust wise, it also looks like they didnt make sure the cheese was all over the pie before putting it in the oven, you can see where the parts are thicker and thinner. they use the same amount of cheese on every classic pie which means they didnt spread it around right. for anyone curious the type of cheeses they use is a mix of mozz and muenster, the dough is made fresh everyday.
also THEY UNDERCOOKED THE HELL OUT OF THAT CHEESE BREAD WTF
I remember leaving a comment on the Lays/Walkers video about how Joe should do a Little Caesars video after eating the Fish and Chips chip and have something *slightly* better tasting, to which he responded, “yeah no thanks.” Joe, if you’re reading this, who’s laughing now?
Been waiting for this one, I'm a weirdo and whenever I eat something, I usually watch something about the food whether it be someone eating it or just talking about it, and everytime I get little ceasers I have no videos to watch along side it
Goodbye WORTH IT... hopefully FOOD WARS will be able to last a while longer. Keep up the good work guys!
Doesn’t the U.S also have crazy puffs
We do now
Best way to eat Little Caesars Pizza is after putting it in the fridge for the night and eating it cold.
You can't call a pizza a margarita unless if there's fresh basil on top and finished with olive oil
Love these guys!
The UK version of Little Caesars looks very undercooked. 😂
Literally
They should have them switch places for an episode. That would be really interesting
They need to make a pizza tier list
A true Detroit style pizza doesnt come with the sauce on top. It's just baked in a rectangle dish (HAS TO BE BLUE STEEL) and the cheese caramelizes on the sides forming that crust. Detroit styles dough is more focaccia like which gives it that spongy feel as LC is from Detroit. The pizza you are thinking of with a bit of sauce on the top is a version of Detroit Style called a Racing Stripe pizza! I'm a wife of a Detroit native and lived up in MI for 4 years. Best pizza around there is Buddy's and Jets.
I called this fast food, place little seizures, because when I was in there ordering a pizza, the lady making dough had a seizure
LMAO
@9:47 yeah so about that they are here in the usa now.
the us has crazy puffs now lmao
Beautiful video, interesting information...
Damn you man got me HUNGRY
Water through my mouth😂
The editing is my favorite parts 😂
British fast food just looks sad, but we all know it’s probably healthier 😔
Little Caesars has always been a get your pizza hot, fast, and cheap kind of place
even 30 years ago you could order your pizza as you leave the door and as you walk up to Little Caesars it would be coming out of the oven
yes Little Caesars almost never had any delivery service except in a few locations but that slowly ended until food delivery apps came about during covid
The us pizzas look way better
The UK has little Caesars huh that's wild lol UK surprises us again, great video food wars never gets old.
I had a google and theres apparently only one branch in the small city of Derby. So only it's only really accessible for 0.3% of the UK population.
I knew of Little Caesars as they sponsor a concert arena in Detroit that some bands I know have played, but legit didn't know we had it
@@skratakh not even in Derby, but in a small village by its southern bypass a good 10-15 minutes drive from the centre of Derby itself
@@chlcrk it will be a franchise
Plus it’s horrifyingly overpriced, which is surprising for a chain renowned in the US as being cheap. They’re charging £8-£10 for most of their supposedly “large” 12-inch pizzas, so this video is misleading. Papa Johns in the UK is overpriced but with discounts I can get a 13.5-inch large pizza for £10! The US are paying £5.40 for a 13.5-inch pizza by comparison!
The uk pizza looks so sad
Fr dude, it looks like they just let it sit out and dry

Joe dunking on Little Ceasers is making me mad
I remember when I was younger that little caeser’s did a deep dish meatlover’s bacon wrapped pizza and I will never feel joy again until they bring it back
Well the UKs isn’t lookin the best 😅
Why?
i used to work at lil caesars in high school , if u ask for “crazy all over” on the whole pizza , or just the slices or crust , they put the same butter and cheese from the breadsticks on whatever part of the pizza u want
US clears damn
3:18 We actually did have the Quattro about 4 years ago when I worked at Little Caesars. I don't think it's been back on the menu since then (because it wasn't very popular)
Pineapple on pizza is a crime against humanity.
So we’re just gonna forget that uk put corn on everything pineapple is the least of our worries
I love LC, we always had a good time working for our customers.
Bro doesn't think Americans know what Margherita pizza is. Well, Brits don't know what good food is.
Margherita pizza (1889 Naples,Italy) named after a queen at the time. Did and still contains sauce, cheeses, and basil leaves. (In UK, you must mean regular everyday, plain pizza cheese and sauce)
