The bluegill (Lepomis macrochirus) is a member of the sunfish family. This family of fish contains many species, including bass and crappie. ... Perch belong to a separate family of fish not related to bluegill or other sunfish. Common species from the perch family include walleye, sauger, yellow perch and darters

I take the wife and kids to catch bluegill all the time. They are always fun to catch and you can get a good amount of meat off of the bigger ones. Many people over look the bluegill but they put up a great fight and are so tasty!! Great video -S/F

Mike, part of what I love about your channel is the fact that you DO do so many new things (or new to many people at least) and that you are such a humble, respectful, decent guy. Yes, you hunt but you eat what you take. You aren't just out there killing things for the sake of shooting your gun. You ARE an interesting person to watch. You are fun, your family is awesome and your friends are too. I love seeing Angel in the videos, maybe cuz I'm a female subscriber, haha, but it'd be fun to see her try her hand at some of the things you do, if she's willing of course. ! I'd love to see some spear fishing in the Bahamas and some deep sea fishing. Partly because I live in land-locked Canada and the fish in the ocean are so new to me. I think the best thing you could do right now, is keep enjoying what you are doing. That shows when you (or anyone) films their adventures. Take care, bud! Heather🇨🇦

There reason you got so many subscribers so quick is you are good people and I do not mind my grandchildren watching even with Outlaw on there because in todays culture the F bomb is so widely used, I just hope they don't know the meaning till they are old enough to understand why that bull is covering the cows on the farm. Sorry I didn't get in on the bow drawing but getting a total knee replacement in the morning and just having to watch every penny for rehab cause dove season is just around the corner and I need to be ready for sure. If we have any doves this year I will have to invite you and your dad down to Austin for a good time, I've seen it like Argentina here before. Planted 75 acres of sunflowers and some millet so if a hurricane don't blow them out like 2 years ago we should be good. Congratulations on the hundred thousand subscribers.

Those and crappie are probably the best fresh water fish in our state to eat. Brother that was the first time I've ever seen any one dig up worms that way.
