- We wanted to create something different from last year without loosing the human spirit and the human stories which were protagonists on the first documentary.
The goal was to improve what we did last year remaining true to the Patagonman core values.
This new documentary shows our ability as humans to cope with the biggest imaginable challenges and how we can take different approaches to adversity but at the end we are all so similar in our soul.
In times when the world seems to be stopping for a moment giving us the opportunity to reflect about our actions and its consequences, this documentary shows us that sometimes going back to the basics, to nature, to our roots, to simplicity... can bring us more reward in life than to keep pushing ourselves to edge of consumption
And the girl that donated her kidney is my new Hero !

Absolutely amazing video! For me, this is why I do triathlon and endurance sports. To find more of myself, to experience more of life and to feel alive through suffering! I can't wait to one day complete your race! Will be conquiring my local UK races first and then venture outside of the UK, but you're definitely on the 'list'.

Like many of us I spend way way too much time on the trainer And therefore watch a lot of UA-cam. By far one of my favorites. I love Tim Don and James Lawrence And the age groupers were amazing and authentic and moving. And the film itself was amazing wonderful job guys

The emotion i.e. facial expressions and gestures shot at the right moment are breathtaking and transferring everything to the viewer.

having only done 2 70.3's and lots of standards & sprints etc, I could still full feel the emotion, brought tears to my eyes and made me proud to be part of the same "tri family" as everyone, pro's and AG's alike as well as us that just tri and finish..Tim is just awesome..

Simply sincere and real feelings from authentic people challenging themselves in a world that seems to have seeded up to much to find these feelings in daily life.

Thanks to the event organisers and the video & digital team for making this available! The video itself is wonderfully done, but it is the personal interviews with the participants sharing their stories which really brings the heart into this documentary and separates it from so many other triathlon films. As a distance trail runner, this almost makes me want to buy a wetsuit and a mountain bike ;-)

This melodramatic style of filmmaking just makes so many things unwatchable. Rising anthems played over pretentiously artsy slow-mo shots. It's nauseating.
That much ? I get your point but nauseating is a bit strong isn't it judge Kelley ?
Fine. It's been done ad nauseam.
It's seemingly done for any mass participation event nowadays as well, whether it's a 5k/marathon/ironman etc, and totally agree it's boring and makes me click off videos. Saying that, I didn't mind this one so much though as it focused a lot on the conditions of the race rather than 100% emosh backstory.
You are right .. it became a style .. i hope next one more personal ..
and everyone has an amazing, inspiring, deep, heartwarming story about why they participate…
