Is the 80w good for sharks from shore just getting into shark fishing and someone told me to check it out and I'm in love it with already and I haven't even bought it yet

Hi @rippingandripping9983. If you're in the Gulf or in the east coast, a Penn 80W is a good choice for shark fishing from shore. Some people fill it up with half mono and half braid.

No one really thinks about us Land-based shark fisherman. It's always "trolling and tuna builds." Not everyone has boat money
