- I got a stuck grease zerk on a major pivot pin on the backhoe. Its been a while since this pin has had grease. Today, I attempt to save work by using the Lock N Lube Grease Buster to unclog the zerk. Its either that, or I will need to pull the pin.

Congrats, you now have the cleanest, most greasiest, pin all of america ! I had tears in my eyes laughing when all that grease was pouring out the only place you could not see. Anybody who has done much greasing can totally relate. Man I hate greasing.
@@kevinhardin2941 Yeah... Same here. But it's necessary. That pin has never been easy to grease, even with pressure taken off it. Thanks for watching and giving me a good laugh.
Good Video, Just watch those fingers, Anything moves or slips and "Stumpy" is the new name. Great trouble shooting and thank you for leaving in the mistakes made... That's how your audience learns. Cheers.
Be careful where you put that finger. One shift in that implement and you may be doing a re-attachment video
You are absolutely right! I do need to pay more attention to things like that. Complacency kills.
If your gun doesn't stop from being over pressurized, means the grease is spitting out somewhere. Gotta love cleaning up massive piles of it when you don't notice lol.
Too much pressure on the pin. Also with the tool, I like to loosen the attachment piece, fill it, put in on the zirc, then tighten it down. Tap tap tap away. Tends to work for me but everyone knows how big a pain in the ass a bad grease port is.
Damn bruv u got the same grease gun as me..thing got no smoke to push out the fitting when its plugged
I'm wondering if you have to relieve the pressure on the pin before it will accept grease? Backhoe up at the beginning and no grease but after you relieved the pressure it took grease. Just a thought.
I honestly dont know! It takes grease now. I've greased that pin a few times since filming this video. But before, I couldn't get grease into it at all! Maybe I knocked something loose, maybe the pressure was relieved, maybe something lined up better...? But, knowing that the pin is lubed has given me peace of mind.
Thank you for watching and commenting!
That's what I was thinking. Too much pressure on the pin to even accept any solvent. I restore "old" equipment (most is relatively new that the owners just should never have owned) and that silly little tool works for me 9/10 times at least. Had a couple it could not get but not many.
😁
I almost gave you a thumbs down because of the annoying violin sound in the background. I was trying to hear what you were saying but was struggling because of your annoying background “so called music”!
I do appreciate the comment. The music is a bit distracting. I'll try to remember that on future videos. Thank you for watching and commenting!
