That Foleys entrance with the angled glass and the split face rock walls in the mall are the gems. Please capture more stuff like that in detail. These are design features we will probably never see again… or until it comes back in style decades from now as all these aspects of design are cyclical.

everything else around this mall killed it, no need to go here when its all around and better access to car.

This mall was so popular in the 90s when I was a boy. There were restaurants, stores, and arcades there. Now, it is very bad.

Not much is left and you probably won't be able to get in but you should look at the history of Westbury square mall in Houston

I see that there are new shopping outside center are happening. Which is kinda nice, but we still need the inside, indoors shopping centers. To show love and care for the people. Especially the senior citizens. The heat will be to much for them. They need air conditioning and other protection from raining weather.

It’s so strange seeing that the open mall entrance has boarded up doors

I was here back in April and the security guard asked me if I was taking pictures. I left because he made me feel uncomfortable.

I remember when that mall was built. It used to be nice. Very sad.

I hope we the people can keep the malls, because of the heat outside and raining weather especially for the senior citizens. And young people who may be sicky at times. Last year in 2023 the hot temperature were in three digits, like 102, 103, 105, 106, 107 and 108 degrees. It was hot some people break out with a rass, or called heat bumps. This year people died in the living area, home because of the heat. They maybe suffocate , because of the heat. But It was because of having no electricity, because of the storms we had. Still they got hot from the heat. So please let us people keep the shopping malls available to avoid the heat rainy weather and cold weather in the winter time. Thank you!

I may have missed it if you said it in your video, but how many stores are still open? It looked like only a few…

That mall is dead because people got tired of being robbed and shot.
It's not called Gunspoint because it sounds sweet.

You know what happened to that area? The City of Houston expanded the city bus lines out to Greenspoint. That was it for the area. Low income housing and crime came next.
