Vocation Prayer:
Behold me at thy feet, o' Virgin most kind. Speaking to obtain through thee the most important grace of knowing what I ought to do. I desire nothing but to comply perfectly with the Will of the Divine Son, at every moment of my life. Mother of good counsel let me hear thy voice. It will dispel every doubt that troubles my mind. I trust in thee, in confident that since thou art the mother of my Redeemer thou will also be the mother of my salvation. If thou, o' Mary, will not send me a ray of light from thy Divine Son, what light will enlighten me? Who will direct me if thou refuset? Who art the mother of the Uncreated Wisdom? Listen then to my humble prayer, let me not be lost in my uncertainty and instability. Lead me along the straight road that ends in life everlasting. Thou who art my only hope, who's hands are full of virtue and life, and who dispenses the fruits of honor and holiness. Amen.

God, I know You love me and have great plans for me. But sometimes I am overwhelmed by he thought of my future. Show me how to walk forward one day at a time. May I take heart while I search openly, learn about all the choices, listen to others for advice, and pay attention to my own feelings. By doing these things, may I hear your call to a lifestyle and a career that will let me love as only I can, and let me serve others with the special gifts that You have given me. Amen.
Lord, I thank You for the gifts You have given me, especially for life, love, family and friends. Help me to know myself better and to know my talents, as I pray, study and decide on my life's work. Help me to see and understand the path You open for me. Help me choose a life's work which will be in response to my potential and your love for me. If I am being invited to follow You as a priest, brother, sister, give me a generous heart to respond to your challenging call and the strength to follow You wherever You lead me. Amen

When watching this video, im not rlly looking for vocations per say but the advice being given is helping me being more motivated to try and convert to catholicism, and helps me realise that God was always closing doors for me to attend my own church and i started to go to mass and it was more easy for me to do that, i feel very called to catholicism and im just persisting in prayer before going to the priest about this as im still really anxious about this so please pray for me Amber🙏🏻
As a father of two it bothers me that so many good people don't want to have kids because of how bad the world is. If only bad people have kids, who are my kids going to have to share the world with?
I had a similar thought as you did with not wanting to bring kids into the world. My mother had a daycare in our house as I grew up so I loved kids and taking care of them. I met the right woman and we talked about that belief of bringing kids into such a horrible world and then I looked at it from a different aspect. The fact that the world is so messed up is all the more reason why you should have children and raised them to be devout upright and just so that they can be and affect the change that you want to see in the world. Now we have 5 kids 😆🙌🏼🙏🏻

Pray for me please, I believe I am called to marriage, but so far no good Catholic man is interested in me. Pray that I meet him and that in the meantime I get the grace to overcome any addictions or issues I may have. Thank you friends.

This is a great video! I used to think that vocation wasn't very important cause we have free will and we can serve God in what we like (Yes, I am very ashame about it but I feel like I'm not the only one who thought that 😂) but as time went on and I started to get more deeper in my faith I understood that vocation is a very important matter and it is way to serve God with all our capacities, all our love and give it all to Him. And most importantly it is a way to find happiness in our service to the Lord.
I've felt like I've wanted to become a Priest since I was in my mid-teens but I’m afraid of the commitment and how my family would react and I feel kind of embarrassed to speak to a Priest about it. I’m also dating a Mormon girl and feel kind of bad that l have the thoughts and feelings of becoming a Priest when I'm dating someone, it's like I'm not being honest with her. Thanks for the vid, the part at 11:00 was as if u were speaking to me directly! I guess I need to get over the awkwardness I feel about it.
Not trying to get very personal but Mormonism and Catholicism is very different. You two don't have any discussions or arguments about faith or life?

Given the demographic changes in the US, it has been reckoned that with the rate of decrease in Wasp liberal birth rate, by the end of this century the US will be 50% Hispanic Catholics and 50% Amish. Yea the Amish are quietly expanding and farming without anyone noticing.

Pretty good, thank you. I think it was mainly due to burnout, I havent given myself much time to rest so I've been taking it easy

great info and very educative. Always felt the excitement of helping people feel fulfilled thought it is a vocation (servitude). But eventually had to learn in the hard way in the past, may be it His way of making us better through the ups and downs. To sum it up, the pain and struggle makes us better but... A mail later

I absolutely love your channel and watch it regularly. Have you ever covered where the “hippie” part of your channel name came from? I know the word has been a bit redefined these days and doesn’t necessarily mean granola munchin’, tie dye wearing, Grateful Dead following potheads as it did for most of my life. I was just curious where it came from for you. It’s cute.
I get the question a lot, I addressed it in the very first video I ever did and Q&A's but I should probably do it again, it was basically a nickname and when I started my social media I didnt know what to do so I just put my nickname as my handle until I could figure something else out and everyone liked it so much that I just kept it! Tried changing it once but everyone was pretty upset so... honestly I really like it too :)) thank you!

I always have want to have kids, but most of the people near me want me to go priesthood. In the end I have neither.

At diocesan seminaries they don't really allow us to have long stays, only a few days. I think that's only for religious orders.
