Dear Noo Stenning! Currently I am so much interesting in Bath uni, BUT dont know to find information about this university. Would u kindly help me some? And yes, im from Cambodia! Please kindly reply me back!
+Sreymeas Shaun Hi! If you go on the website you should be able to find out lots of information :) if you find a good email for the university you can send off for a prospectus which will always have LOTS of information in it! I have some videos on my channel where I show my day at bath too if you're interested in that x
Hey, really weird question but how deep is the wardrobe? Because I have a really small wardrobe at home but I have this storage unit that sorta fits inside that I keep all my clothes in and it works a dream but if I manage to get into Bath I don't want to haul it all the way up there in the back of my mums car to see if it fits ahahah (Hopefully studying Chemistry there this September if exams go well!)
+Kate Willis-Fisher no don't worry that's not a weird question haha! I would say its about 2 stacks of clothes deep so if you fold your clothes to a normal sort of folded size you can fit x2 of those in deep wise? At a tough estimate maybe 45-50cm It's not the biggest wardrobe... good luck for your exams!
Thanks for the room tour. Things have changed a lot in dorm rooms since I went to Bath Uni 30 years ago. Back then there was no wifi and the computers were located in the computer labs. I lived in Eastwood back then! Read for a Post Grad Degree.
this was legit the best room tour I've seen so far (and I've watched A LOT) I love your personality and the realism and the popcorn themes running throughout haha
Ahh this was so, so helpful! I've applied to bath this year and I'm really considering this accommodation choice. If you could make another video going into detail about your experience with the Quads i would genuinely be so grateful! Thanks for the video!! xx
Wow this is amazing, I am also studying in uni bath now however never got the chance to have a look in the student accommodation. Your room looks lovely!
Actually obsessed with your videos!! For your tv I would fully recommend a google chrome cast. It allows you to cast things such as UA-cam, Netflix etc from your phone. They are so useful and not expensive at all x
+William Lyons no there's no restrictions like that haha! I think it depends on the people honestly, you'll never have the same experience as someone else because of the people you live with. But I would say some halls lend themselves to being more social e.g. Quads is the only one with a lounge, Polden people don't tend to cook because they have money on their library cards so they may spend less time in the kitchen, Norwood is known for being quite a party block but that may not be the case every year!x
Hi. Not sure whether you still follow this thread but my daughter has just been allocated Quads for 23, just need to know, will she need a single or double quilt on the bed, thinking, can a double tuck down the side or not? Thank you. Loved yr video..yr wardrobe looks just like my daughters room! Home from home 😂
Hi, I do try and follow it haha! They’re singles :) I can’t quite remember if there’s room to tuck down the side though sorry to not be more help - hope she has a fab time!
Hello, thanks for the great video! I'll be joining the university of bath this october and I will be residing in The Quads as well! One question; is the bed comfortable or would you recommend getting a mattress topper?
You are allowed guests occasionally. I lived in Westwood, and had just enough room for one friend to crash on my floor and another to squish into my single bed. It’s not ideal, but no one cares too much after a night out. Hope this helps
Hi! I am considering the quads, sols/marl and woodland court for my accommodation. However, through research I have realised that... The quads: -I find the price a little high (although I am able to pay for it if I end up choosing it) Sols/Marl: -the "social space" is very limited Woodland: -the higher number of flatmates (around 18) could present issues such as when sharing the kitchen, etc. Would love any advice and input from anyone. Thank you in advance!
Personally I felt the Quads was worth it for the bigger flat despite the smaller room, but depends how much social time you may spend there Think about time spent in the room and budget
Hey! I’m hopefully going to bath next year and I have to do my accommodations choices, is the quads worth it? I mean I have the feeling the rooms are too little... and is it noisy? And finally, what other accommodations do you recommend ? Thanks a lot!!
+aholzbacher it's very expensive I agree. Personally I like the lounge because it's the only accommodation with one and the eat and drink credit is very helpful. The room is smallllll but really not a problem, it can be noisy but all of them are! The other accommodations are definitely nice too, I would recommend Woodland Court (double beds!) and if you have a slightly lower budget Eastwood! X
aholzbacher I think woodland court is pretty good. There is a communal area with a TV and more sofas in the second part of the corridor and every room is an ensuite. I stayed there for a year in a shared ensuite room 👍
Great personal tour vid Quads looks mad nice! I didn’t research different buildings other than pricing and having at least a sink and put Norwood as my first, but all I’ve heard from accomodation videos is how noisy it gets?! Do you know anyone there that gets badly affected by that like sleep wise or is it worth putting up with for cheaper rooms?
I think it’s definitely more noisy because it’s above the SU, but pretty much pot luck which floor and side of it you get and one is much noisier than the other haha! Most people I know who’ve been there have been fine with it- totally depends how much budget is important to you! I would say it’ll be fine, but if you think you’re really going to be affected by it Wednesday and Saturday (club) nights, maybe go for another- though really depending on flat mates they can all be noisy!
Wow didn't expect to actually get a response on a 2 year old video thank you! I guess it's only for a year so might as well enjoy the student halls vibe while you can
Hi really like your vlogs, I didnt notice a kettle in your room for hot drinks? do you cook your own food or is it in the price of the room and you go to the uni canteen? thanks :)
+David thanks! Kettles aren't allowed in the rooms, but there's one in the kitchen! Both haha, in this set of halls you cook your own food and in the price is money per week to spend at all the cafes and restaurants at Uni :)
Hiii! I’m not usually one to watch UA-cam (or comment at all!) but your videos have been super helpful as I am off to Bath to do Architecture this September after my Gap Year. I was wondering if you knew any architects and what their workload was like? Also (sorry if this is too nosy!) but I was wondering if you and your boyfriend decided to go to the same uni together? My boyfriend of 3 years will be going to Bristol when I start at Bath and I was wondering if it was any harder to make friends being in a relationship? Thanks so much
+Mimi Burt aw that's so nice to here that you found them useful haha! That's amazing, I hope you have a great time :) I was literally half an hour ago talking about how I don't know many architects haha, I think they tend to be some of the busiest on campus but if you got in you got in for a reason so I'm sure you'll be ok! No problem haha, no we didn't we just applied to a few of the same uni's and then both liked Bath the best which was a bonus Definitely not harder no, I had no problems at all you just need to make sure you make effort to spend time with everyone. In fact it's nice because he's friends with my flat and vice versa. We both gave each other quite a lot of space in freshers week to meet people and then carried on as normal because we didn't go to the same school before!xx
Noo Stenning thank you so much for such a detailed response! Super helpful. I agree, I chose architecture because I love it so the workload shouldn’t be too bad and my boyfriend and I definitely need to give each other space during freshers :)
Hey I'm applying for accommodation for Bath on the 9th! Do they allow candles in rooms and coffee makers or are there restrictions on what we can have? x
+Candice aw fab! There are restrictions, definitely no candles! But you can keep the coffee maker in the kitchen no problem. I think there's a list on the website under the accommodation bit x
+Monty G I think there were quite a few yes, there's not a lot you can do about it though you just have to get your options in early and hope for the best!
+Koustab Mishra all the prices are on the website :) just google the accommodation and there will be a link to find all the prices for next year :) I believe this was about £180 a week
Personally very lucky I had help from my parents, most people use the loan and have a bit of help as far as I’m aware but lots have a job too to cover living costs etc. Quads is very expensive and probably not worth it if you’re going to have to live off beans etc for the sake of the rent!
Other universities students always say each accommodation area has their own personalities like some are where the more party enthusiasts go and others relaxing or more snobbish accommodations, can you make a video about these or reply to this message about these as i don't want to go to one that is completely different compared to me.
+edward it’s so hard to say because it depends SO much on the people from my experience, naturally the ones with lounges tend to be more social but saying that sometimes more people sharing a kitchen or something brings people together more!
+Samuel Thomas I personally cook for myself so I have lots left that I can use next year! It's probably enough for a meal a day on weekdays? Polden I believe is £50 with the idea that you don't cook nearly at all, I personally would get sick of campus food so this is a better system for me!x
Noo Stenning Thanks for the input! Do you think the space in Quads is big enough? Also do you think cooking takes up too much time? I wouldn't want to disrupt studies. How much do you pay a week for your accommodation? Sorry if someone has already asked but just thought I’d ask :) Xx
I swear science people are all the 'organised mess' type of people
+Liv Rook yup 😂😂
I agree 100 %
‘If you’re just nosy’ looooooool I feel personally attacked noo😂😂😂
+Suha 😂I'm nosey too don't worry
ok the mood lighting thingy is actually pretty cool
Thanks for the room tour. Things have changed a lot in dorm rooms since I went to Bath Uni 30 years ago. Back then there was no wifi and the computers were located in the computer labs. I lived in Eastwood back then! Read for a Post Grad Degree.
Trust me eastwood hasnt changed, i stayed 2 years ago it looks nothing like this
this was legit the best room tour I've seen so far (and I've watched A LOT) I love your personality and the realism and the popcorn themes running throughout haha
+Colin Lievens I'm so glad! Hahaha love some popcorn
😂😂😂😂 “most people store work up her, I store make up and snacks up here” why is this me

+TaraBadr fab! I definitely will x
Wow this is amazing, I am also studying in uni bath now however never got the chance to have a look in the student accommodation. Your room looks lovely!
Your room is so nice and modern, I'm at the Uni of Manchester and its all so old and basic ! Xx
+Xxx X it's quite new! I think the last 4/5 years x
Just bear in mind that the quads are the second most expensive accommodation in Bath, running at £167 per week
Omg if you wanna see a small bathroom, check out the aston uni accommodation you can’t move in there without knocking something over
Would love a video about Quads and your opinion on it
when i tell you i gaspeddd when i saw the state of your wardrobe hahaha this is so realistic, i love it
Actually obsessed with your videos!! For your tv I would fully recommend a google chrome cast. It allows you to cast things such as UA-cam, Netflix etc from your phone. They are so useful and not expensive at all x
+Lily Carpenter aw thank you!

Hello, thanks for the great video! I'll be joining the university of bath this october and I will be residing in The Quads as well! One question; is the bed comfortable or would you recommend getting a mattress topper?
+yasmin timol hope you like it! I had a basic one from ikea and the bed was super comfy 👍
I was going to ask if you could have overnight guest's but after looking at the size of your room I wouldn't think that was possible anyway.
You are allowed guests occasionally. I lived in Westwood, and had just enough room for one friend to crash on my floor and another to squish into my single bed. It’s not ideal, but no one cares too much after a night out. Hope this helps

I love your videos! I've firmed Bath for next year and currently trying to decide on accommodation so this was very helpful! x
+Caitlin Stone aw great! I'm glad, let me know if you have any questions x
Accommodation opens tomorrow! Thanks xx
Hope you got what you wanted! x
Love your University room tour. Can I ask where did you get your black studded backpack from?
Thanks! It’s actually from a random shop in Rome but I found out later it’s a knock off of a bao bao bag by issey miyake x

+M Hope I didn't think woodland had communal areas other than the kitchen? But glad you liked it, I would also recommend!
Noo Stenning yep the main one is right outside the kitchen. It's definitely not as nice as quads but it's got the necessities ☺️
U look like Veronica from riverdale
Ohhh you quads and your moodlighting 😭😭😭
i like ur vlogs ..u r so pretty
I have a question about outside accommodation. How good is centurion house
Ngl the aesthetic of your wardrobe gives me life 🤷♀️😂 #Iliveinblackandwhite
+aimee james 😂👏
I start university in Durham in October-I can’t wait!!
+Meg's Life amazing! Good luck x
What are you doing for accommodation next year? Xx
+Katie Bishop I'm living in a house in the main student part of Bath :) x
Noo Stenning how did you sort that out ? is it with a group of people you know or...?
+Bonnie James yeah my current flat, most people do or groups that they know :)
Which quads where you in whilst you where at bath as I went for the discover bath course which was a summer school
I was in Acer :)
I lived there first year!

How likely are you to get your first choice accommodation? I applied for woodland house but the en suite ones are really oversubscribed I think
+FirminoFan 101 honestly depends how early you did it I think! I think it's first come first serve x
Noo Stenning ok nice thanks x
your room looks really cute!!
wish i lived in Bath :)
Did your room already have bins in there or did you have to get them yourself? Also is there any space under the bed for storage boxes xx
+Eve Bartlett I think it had bins! Yes there’s under bed storage x
I have the same slippers as u haha gotta love primark 💓
my brother goes to bath and the price of the rooms are crazy for what you’re getting
Hi really like your vlogs, I didnt notice a kettle in your room for hot drinks? do you cook your own food or is it in the price of the room and you go to the uni canteen? thanks :)

whats it like studying that

were there a lot of people that put the quads first and got given another accommodation?
+Monty G I think there were quite a few yes, there's not a lot you can do about it though you just have to get your options in early and hope for the best!
At bath are you allowed to have people stay in your room like if friends are visiting?
+Katie I think officially you have to ask but yes....people stayed all the time in our flat x
What about the kitchen?
Where is your really cool backpack from?
+Aimee Vincent it's from a shop in Rome unfortunately (unless you live there haha!) it's a fake of a designer one Issey Miyake x
i am planning to go to bath for my pg as an international student.....can u tell me the pricing of these kind of accomodations
+Koustab Mishra all the prices are on the website :) just google the accommodation and there will be a link to find all the prices for next year :) I believe this was about £180 a week

Hello :) I will stay 3 months in this summer.I look for clear and cheap accommodation. What is your advice?
+selver bozkurt Eastwood is nice :)
Thank you :) I saw two name about Eastwood at universitys page .Eastwood(E1-E19)and Eastwood(E1-E21) Is it same place or not ?
+selver bozkurt it's the same I think, some maybe don't have wash basins in the room
Noo Stenning Thanks for advise 🙋
do they record classes? (plz reply its important)
most lectures yes :)
Nice room but not sure I could handle the green
Yup....not the best colour
What is malborough court like?
great!
Is that your own bathroom or do you share it?
it's an ensuite in Quads so it was my own x
Are you taking the 25pp for eat and drink credit? Due think it's sufficient for a week? How do you compare it to Polden Court?
+Samuel Thomas I personally cook for myself so I have lots left that I can use next year! It's probably enough for a meal a day on weekdays? Polden I believe is £50 with the idea that you don't cook nearly at all, I personally would get sick of campus food so this is a better system for me!x
Noo Stenning Thanks for the input! Do you think the space in Quads is big enough? Also do you think cooking takes up too much time? I wouldn't want to disrupt studies. I have no problem of maybe cooking on weekends but scared of workload on weekdays. Do you think the 25 pounds would be worth it then? How much is the TV licence per week? Lol. Feel it would be a waste if it's not taken advantage. I'm only interested in UA-cam and Netflix 😂😂
Noo Stenning oh and what is the difference of the prices at Limetree if you are paying through credit vs paying in cash?
+Samuel Thomas I do yes! No cooking definitely doesn't and if you aren't taking breaks even for cooking you're doing university wrong!! The 25 is useful but restricts you on what you can eat
The TV licence is included :)
+Samuel Thomas no difference :)
I know you mentioned it in the beginning but which accommodation option did you choose? Do you eat in the canteen everyday? x thanks for the helpful video!!
+Harriet K The Quads! We don't have a canteen at bath like most unis we have lots of restaurants and cafes, I eat probably every other day either lunch or dinner at one yes :) x
Can you remember when you found out what accommodation type you got?
+Aaron Dunkley start of September I think!
IF YOU LIKED THIS VIDEO PLEASE GO AND CHECK OUT MY UNIVERSITY ROOM TOUR TOO ua-cam.com/video/a2I3BIQNx68/v-deo.html
1- good luck for Exams. 2- do you know how high you were from the grade boundaries for chem and bio a level? like which one was the hardest/ were u closest to a B for? just wondering which one is harder/ more risky/ higher grade boundaries... thanks xxx
+Maddie Mills thank you! The grade boundaries change every year so it's hard to say, and the way each a level works is different so it's not useful to know how close people were, I would say. If I had to guess I would say both have quite narrow boundaries neither is riskier, but most people find chemistry harder to get a high grade in x
First world countries are awesome
What is the cost living there?
The cost of the accommodation is on the website under “Quads”
do you get a fridge?
+Sebastian Dzienis not in your room no x
is this en suite? or shared
en suite :)
@@NooStenningVideos how much was your total cost of living per year and how much money did you have left to spend per week from student loan?
Everyone’s student loan is different so I can’t really answer that- but I’m planning to do a whole budgeting video about cost in Bath
i love how real you are,, i subscribed (:
+outerspaceluke x aw thank you!
Oh Noo! You are too pretty and too charming! 😏
I feel like you have a lot of stuff 😂♥️
+Ellen Rose I do hahahaha
Need to know about the prices 😂
+S J mine is expensive I'll tell you that haha! But all the prices are online x
