It's a dish that goes really well with the creamy sauce and the soft potatoes.
The flavor of garlic and onion permeates the sauce, giving it a deeper taste.
It's so simple, but it tastes better than expected.
*** Measurements are scales (g), rice spoons (Tbsp), teaspoons (tsp) (not measuring spoons)
[Serves 2]
✤ Ingredients
- 350g, 2 medium-sized potatoes (peeled weight)
- 1/3 Onion
- 18g (1Tbsp) Minced garlic
- 30g Unsalted butter
- 5g (0.5Tbsp) Wheat flour
- 2g, 4 pinches Salt
- 100ml Milk
- 20g (3Tbsp) Parmesan cheese
- Black pepper powder (missed from the video)
- Mozzarella cheese
- Parsley (optional)
✤ Tips
- The reason why you cook potatoes first in the microwave is that they don't cook well in the oven and take a long time.
- Potato boiling time may vary depending on the thickness and amount of potatoes.
- If the sauce is too thick, just add more milk.

In France, we do the same meal called "Tartiflette". But we use "reblochon" on the top of the potatoes. It's a kind of cheese we like in Savoy :) It's incredibly delicious !

ive been occasionally making this recipe for the past year and have come to tweak it for anyone interested:
- add a bit of cayenne pepper powder to the milk mixture
- sometimes i feel fancy and add a tiny bit of nutmeg
- dont forget the black pepper
- use an entire onion. about a medium sized one
- i steam the potatoes on the stovetop instead of microwaving it mainly bc im unnecessarily wary of microwaves lol
- mix the onions, potato, and milk mixture in a big bowl before adding it to a baking dish. i realized this helps distribute the sauce better and saves time on the arrangement originally done

@@juliap.5375 Либо вы плохо приготовили, либо не умеете разбираться в сорте картошок. То что вам противен этот рецепт, не значит что кому-то другому может не преспичеть такое приготовить. Куча есть запиканок из картошек, куда добавляют овощи и сыр. А вам только этот рецепт противен?
