The athletes in the back are also world class just not the top of the world so they do deserve to be recognized and yes good point, the commentators did a great job at doing that
i know Im randomly asking but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account?? I somehow forgot my password. I love any help you can offer me
will not comment what i think of some of the runners, but what a fanstatic course! good to see a course with some elevation, and not just a log in the middle of the track.
I totally underestimated the speed of some of the athletes by comparison to the winners, but when I did more research, most of these guys are REALLY fast.
Great race by Mengesha, Tadesse Worku and generally the ethiopians 🇪🇹🇪🇹. Mengesha was at last years 5.000m olympic final and has by now a sub 13 minuete pb
@@rsolo9294 Jakob's father is definitely not a doctor. He works with logistics in the Ahlsell company (delivering tools etc. for the building industry). Maybe you confuse Jakob with Alexander Kristoff...
This course looks like it could swallow up the best runners and spit them out. I ran in the bluffs of Minnesota and I’d do that any day over this course.
He would have beaten them all in a 1500m. And what do you mean “again”? That would imply that all he does is lose when, in reality, he had been winning race after race in 2018. The top Ethiopians, Ugandans and Kenyans were all XC specialists, whereas Jakob is a track specialist. Of course he wasn’t going to beat them
I like how ths commentators show respect to the runners who are further back in the field
Yes, very classy. Very respectful. Good job.

@@greggarey4068 One of the lebanese runners that came last 5 (I was 16 at the time). I had a terrible race, but thanks for the motivation!

@Quinton Ayaan instablaster =)
Really hope Ingebrigtsen runs worlds again in 2023. Great to see him step into xc.

Cross country is such a cool sport to watch when filmed correctly. I think the randomness of the course pushes for a more fair pace than a track.
I totally underestimated the speed of some of the athletes by comparison to the winners, but when I did more research, most of these guys are REALLY fast.
Kiplimo would have dusted these kids. He was still 18 but decided to run with the big boys
Same as Barega
Fantastic commentators!

A few suspicious looking 19 year olds in the mix
Yeah some in reality closer to 30 than 20
Jakob's fan ? 😂😂😂 and u imagine he's clean ?? 😂😂
@@onsenfout3384 no discrediting the africans, its just difficult to verify their real ages since a lot of them don't have birth certificates.
@@onsenfout3384 I think his clean. Why you think his doped? Just because his at the same level as Africans? How racist of you... :)

On ur marks...
*one tenth of a sec later*
BANG!!!
The Africans look 30
I don't know what the Europeans look like because they were running in a different race. LOL! The guy from Norway looks like he's close to 40.
Tap Maan lol no he’s 18 or 19 when he raced this
...as judged by European standards I assume. Very smart.

8 Km cross country world recoard time please❤❤🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🇳🇵🌍️🌍️
Sub 3 min/km pace on this course is super human
Ingebrigtsen humbled
I wonder how the younger NAU kids would do in this race.
I need 46 minutes for 8km, how the hell do they do it in 23:55 minutes
u thresh
Kiplimo would have won this but he ran the senior race that day and came second to Cheptegei
Bravo a vous tous.
It shouldn't be surprising that a miler (Engebritsen) loses to cross country guys in a cross country race.
Hes also too heavy for these courses. We dont tend to see 1500m runners even compete in these xc races or do well. Its a 5-10k mans race
Yeah but now he is the European Long Course Cross country Champ
* Ingebrigtsen*
Erik B you’re the bestest!
Seb coe robbed him. If the course was flat, Jakob would've smoked them
If Jakob had short shorts they would have no chance :)))))))
25:48 what is complicate in just pulling him on the side by his arms... really sometimes I don't understand...
Kenya,Uganda and Ethiopia are the best long distance runners.
Trust me,you can't simply win one of those three countries in such runs
Якоб красава !!!
As a European over 70kg, you can't compete with 45-50kg athletes on hills
Lol! Pushes a Kenyan out of the way at the start line and then gets beat by 3 of them.
jakob is probably disadvantaged by his weight in the climbs... as he looks really heavier than the africans... no ?
Yup. He is about 65kg. Long distance african athletes are typically around 50kg
He's like 6'2 and 150lbs. They are 5'8 ish and
@@christophersmith3254 there is really the advantage of beeing light I am for example 178cm and 53kg

You the man
Ha, tru
Who even are the US runners lol
O. Run you. Great.
25:44 leave him the fuck alone ffs
Jacob is 5'11" 😂
It's impossible to win Africans in distances longer than 5000m.
Ethiopia has the most noticable growth spurt during puberty for males than anywhere else in the world... Then after that they stay short!
The guy at 19:00 looks like the USA olympian from the movie ‘broken’ (world war two)
waqy gamin' ah yeah ur right!
Mangacha
We need to see IDs on those African runners
😂😂😂
I believe most nations are tired of the east Africans dominating the sport of distance running the past 40 years.
60 Kenyans are currently under doping suspension by WADA including 2 of Kipchoge's pacers.
@@creativity.studio4967 Not surprising
