Lol, that was pretty funny. Even funnier with that certain degree of authority in his voice as he screwed up, lol. Had notes in his hands to top it off too.
I’ll never understand the ‘no pump, no tank’ mindset. Every single fire truck should have at least 200 gallons of water and a pump on it. There’s plenty room on these rigs for a poly tank and a pump.
Nashville Tn does this, all ladders here have no pump no tank but every station has a pumper too. Also you save money on this setup and prevent problems down the road.
Most departments around here are going to this. It also saves us from having to have a rescue truck, without a pump and water you have more room for all the heavy rescue equipment on the ladder.
Beautiful rig!
Damn, this thing would've probably been at FDIC if it wouldn't have been cancelled this year
fdic?
I think he was a bit nervous... 28 section 2 foot ground ladder?? 😂😂 awesome truck though!

Love how they can get 110' on a single axle.
Chicago does the same except no bucket older models, I believe Boston is now doing single axle 100'. Makes sense in tight spaces.

This specific Ladder is in an area surrounded by enough engines and other ladders.
