The key element to me is how you understand the needs of the truck that you were building and what you need it for. And if you can customize that truck to where it will give you the things that you need to store the things that you have to have that's a key element.
Great looking truck, I like how you do the paint work. Also I like the layout of the compartments. The lighting is very good. I like the back-lit handles.
Too bad you guys didn’t go with the TAK4 Rear Steer! Our departments loves the TAK4 rear steer here in Florida! Though in my city of Pensacola, we mostly have rigid frame platforms, though we do have a rear steer platform coming in the future hopefully, that’s when our departments replace our platforms with newer rigs. (Though our platforms are only ten years old at least, so they are still “young”)
I think that they have the tank that clamps into the back of the seat with backpack straps attached to the tank. When they put it on they just put the straps on their shoulders and when they get up from the sitting position it releases from the seat.
Damn, that looks old fashioned already as new. The rigid boom on the aerial is something you haven't seen for decades in Europe. In the US it still seems to be the way to go. Wonder why. Look at the Bronto Skylifts for an example how these should be made! ua-cam.com/video/zd6SwlR5-As/v-deo.html
