I did the same sequence as he did. When im playing solo on sky basin, I got 70-90ms from 120-150ms. 6 man dungeon 70-100ms, definitely better than before :). And btw im always watching UA-cam when im playing Games, so maybe my ping would get better if i dont watch any vids at all, but i can only compare "my" setup :D

Just did NS, and the game reports I have about 220-360ms On average I get like 260-300ms? It's the same amount of ping I get from a ping booster (sometimes even lower) Occasionally though, I feel like the ping is a bit higher than what it reports, but it still made my game way better

I tried exactly what you said and it was catastrophic... My average ping went up by 60-70. Sometimes I had lag spikes where my ping was 500, 1000, and even 2000. I have never had this before even when the server lagged badly. I hope the backup and uninstalling of the respective programs would turn everything back because right now it's absolutely unplayable... rip
i know im late but, i tried out everything and it made my internet keep disconnecting every couple minutes. only fix is restarting the system, but problem reappears anyway. any info about this?
didnt work for me, my ping got higher after downloading both so I uninstalled the tcp optimizer and kept the latency fix and it seems to be a bit better
Great vid only one thing do TCP optimizer first then the Leatrix fix, because TCP optimizer will disable the TCPack from Leatrix fix in the registry :)
Listen to this guy. But the optimizer is not going to help latency like Leatrix will. By default, Windows holds packets up to 250ms while waiting for a packet to a destination to get full. If the application doesn't fill a whole packet's worth of data, the Windows will finally send the packet anyway after 1/4 second. This makes Windows networks less chatty and pleases the network admin. Leatrix changes that setting from 250 to 0, which means you can now be sending some tiny packets, and so it eases restrictions on packet sizes. So the moment an application closes a port to the network stack, Windows wraps up the packet and sends it on to the destination. This makes a huge difference from out of the box Windows in World of Warcraft. It can't make your connection any faster, not even by 1ms. It will either work wonders for your in game latency, or make no difference at all. Can't really make a connection slower either. Almost everything that is not a game is a big file, and so every packet gets filled up anyway, except the very last one. (I would not run the TCP optimizer on my machine, unless I was really trying to fix something broken. That increases packet sizes to use jumbo frames, which is great in cutting down overhead on an internal network, but after your router, I don't think it's doing any good. And after two or several ISP networks, your packet then has to go through their router and over their network to the game server. Are you sure everybody's ISP and hardware is cooperating? If not, then there is a router or switch on the internet somewhere that is de-packetizing your jumbo frames and re-packing them into standard 1500 byte packets. It's probably your router. I'd guess this is why some people got terrible latency after doing this.)

the pythondll is broken with the Leatrix Latency Fix 3. I have tried it several times and keep getting 2 errors the tell me the pythondll is not found or broken. Just a heads up for you. the version is 3.3

Doesn’t work with league. My knowledge isn’t 100% on network protocol, but most games (including league) use a different format for data transfer. This only affects games that use TCP, like old MMOs, general internet browsing as well, voice programs etc.. it’s an older format that is being phased out. I show you how to create the backup file, in case things get worse after you use it. Just run the program again and reload backup file, and click the remove button in the other program.
Am I pretty much stuffed in trying to make my ping better if I cannot connect to a ethernet cable? Where I have my pc vs where my modem is. A ethernet cable is possible just not practical as it would go through a high traffic walk way.
Ethernet cable won't improve ping, it'll just reduce spikes (you'll have less dropped packets). Aka more stable ping but not necessarily better. So if you aren't getting huge random spikes then Ethernet won't help. As an aside, I run the Ethernet cable through the hallway, in front of a closet and a bathroom, and into my room, with no regard for anyone else's walking safety L O L

on a side note i watched keroppies naryu sanctum guide at the end i noticed a brilliant heptagonal gem chest in the bid loot after completion is the gem from that box mailable to alt characters on the same account or is it untradeable like the ones from celestial basin that cant be mailed to alternate accounts or transmuted into hongmoon powders a response would be great as im an f2p player who uses hexas sets from celestial basin also do u need a brilliant key to open the box im a returning player so a response to this would help greatly thanks

One and done. It edits registry values which are permanent (until you turn the program off (leatrix) or reload the backup file you made earlier (tcp optimizer))
Gab Ruiz i get 200-250ms ping So i tried wtfast today I got around 50-70 ms ping, it was great. Back then i was so horrible in dungeons, couldnt manage to do more than 15k dps (i am a new player). Today I did 30k+ dps But wtfast isnt free. IT only has a 30 day free trial
Nice Video with no senseless stuff in it! Quite rare these days. But the only true way to really decrease your ping - Pay for a Fiber connection yourself and dont rely on your shit ISPs because they wont do it anytime soon :monkaS:

No. And you should not get banned for using those Re-routing services either. None of them violate the terms of service. These programs modify your own network and adjust packet size to optimize the rate you send data. Does nothing to the bns game or servers. Those reroute programs send your signal on an alternate path to the server to avoid congested regions (like dodging traffic on the highway by taking a different road) also not against the terms of service, as it has absolutely nothing to do with BnS game or servers. Dunno where you heard that from but it was a lie.

It's an option in the settings. I don't remember exactly where. It's called "show server delay period"

Try these two programs and see if they help. You should get less ping spikes as you’ll lose less packets. Dunno if it will help your overall ping tho
