    This anime is more inspiring to me than Goku. just being honest. Power fantasy is fun and all, but seeing a weak boy get strong and compete against the world's best boxers? Now that's inspiring.

      Gurren Gambit it is. A regular boy just found his purpose in life and looking for the answer of "what it means to be strong?"

      It's because its rooted in reality. None of us could be goku but a lot of us COULD be ippo if we put in the training (big if on that one but its possible)

      underrated and underwatched are different things.
      The game Okami is universally applauded as one of the best games of all time and yet barely anyones ever actually PLAYED it, or to a lesser extent heard of it.
      our boy jaxblades the same.
      its an insult to call him underrated - none of us underrate him. hes amazing. nobody who knows him goes "eh, 5/10" because we all know our bois better than that.
      hes just not well known.

    One thing I love about Hajime no Ippo is that it gives practical advice on fighting tips very often as well as good training advice in general. Even though I don't go looking for fights, it works well as a workout just practicing it all and applying it to training. Also still looking forward to the Tough like the toons for Takamura. Maybe an indepth breakdown on th benefits of fasting(obviously in a more practical way than starving oneself of going into dehydration).

      +JaxBlade Hey man, I really enjoyed the video! HNI was my personal inspiration to try and maybe get into boxing or just getting fit again, but well, that kinda went down the drain in June. I was diagnosed with a type of Brain Cancer. Though, that's why I'm looking forward to Feb.7th! It'll be my post-scan to see if I'm all clear! I've been kicking its butt, and hopefully I can get my life back! Cause i did put on a lot of weight from cancer D: I went from ~190-235. Not being able to do anything because your body doesn't have enough energy sucks. But I will say, thank YOU for helping give me some inspiration to get back into things once that message hopefully comes around! Wish me luck!
      Also sorry for the text wall ^^;;

    You should do a video on dieting. I need to shed fat atm before i focus on putting on muscle, but I don't really know what to eat. Meal examples for breakfast, lunch and dinner would be a great help to me and probably many others

      I may not be Jax but here's some pointers. core half a lemon into a glass of water and drink it first thing in the morning. oats/oatmeal for breakfast and organic carrots and yogurt for lunch. if you can only do one, do the lemon. I got rid of my lower torso fat in a week with that trick.

      Use a calorie tacking app and set it to were you can lose weight you can also use a calorie app to maintain weight or get bigger but make sure you know how many calories you need for YOUR OWN BODY. also get about 6.5 to 9 hours of sleep some where in that area.

      You can lose fat while gaining muscle, it just requires the right exercises. Also, don't make the mistake of thinking that doing ab exercises will make you lose belly fat, overall fat is lost during cardio

      Oh my you couldn't said it any better! I want to improve my reflects when it comes to dodging or partying attacks. I've been doing Plyo push ups quite a lot lately so I feel like that's helping me approve quite a bit. But I don't know any other exercise routines that could help. By the way do you possibly think you can do a tough like the toons yu yu hakusho?

    Honestly you could get a body like ippos from standard boxing training and some weights every now and then, however with takamura you'd have to go at it harder on the weights part

    You can totally see the difference in your arms haha. Must have been a rough injury, but regardless still look badass and comparable to Ippo's arms. Very well done I'm absolutely giving this exercise routine a tryout!
