Good cover, but the tab is not entirely accurate. I wouldn't have noticed the inaccuracies though, had I not actually studied this song for a long time!
@@BlackSailPass_GuitarCovers I recommend you to watch Opeth's 'unplugged' acoustic performance of this song in the record store. It makes it very clear how they play certain parts. And since it all sounds pretty good I don't want to make a long list, but here are a few: 1. The intro riff (0:36) is played slightly differently. Instead of the 0-5-x-7 to 7-5-x-7, it's actually 0-5-x-7 to 0-0-x-7 (and later when you're playing 7 and 6 on the E string, the A string is still open) 2. At 1:45, what you do with 1-1 and 0-0 is actually 8-6 and 7-5. And right after as you're doing the 1-2-3-4-5-6 thing, you double it with the D string. 3. The main riff (2:17) is played on lower strings. So instead of 2-3-5 on the G-B-E strings, it's 5-5-7 on the D-G-B strings. And the 3-x-5 to 5-x-7 part right after is actually played on one string (the lower one) without octaves. 4. In the 3:23 riff, what you play as 0-7-5 is actually just 4-5 on the D-G strings. And the following 7 to 6 to 0 on the E string is actually two strings, and it's 7-8 to 6-7 (to 0 just on the E string)
@@iqless7313 Detailed response, thank you. I challenge myself to learn most of these songs by ear, so it's likely to vary from the official way of playing it. That said, it's always good to get feedback that will help me improve. Cheers.

That was magnificent
@@kalebno9518 Thank you very much. I've also covered 'Patterns in the Ivy'.
Really cool! I hope to see more prog death covers coming from you.
Thanks for making this! I already knew how to play bits and pieces of this song but this will help me learn the rest of it!
You're welcome. I'll do more Opeth in future.
Nice cover and song, love Opeth
Awesome playing brother! \m/
Top🎉!
Cheers man.

Thanks. Which inaccuracies did you notice?
