hey nice reaction. I think at some point both Chester and Mike said they didn't want to name a specific song meaning to their songs, so everyone can make up their own mind. And you are right, the songs are too short, because they are just too good. 🤘

this song hits me everytime when I was 10-11 when I was beginning to feel the loneliness. the song was a song written about me. I felt that
2 songs I recommend listening to from Hybrid Theory are My December and High Voltage. Both songs don't have music videos but they both have great live performances. For My December Projekt Revolution 2002 and High Voltage Rock Am Ring 2001. They are both bonus tracks on Hybrid Theory.
High Voltage is a song Mike wrote before Chester joined the band in 1999. It is a hip-hop song that is a very good show of Mike's skills as a rapper.
My December is a different sound for Linkin Park. It is not a song that most people would think of when thinking about Linkin Park. It was written by Mike on their tour bus on the way to Nashville to record it for a Christmas cd with quite a few different artists. It shows a softer side to Chester's singing and I wished they would have done this song more.
the other one is and one of the songs from the hybrid theory ep, sadly it wasn't played as much as i would like, same case applies with carousel, song performed live in 1999 and another song from the 6 track demo hybrid theory ep, alongside and one, she couldn't, step up and part of me, and so far away if remember correctly.
You should react to “She Couldn’t” by Linkin Park which is an unreleased song off of Hybrid Theory in 1999 and is a completely different style of LP compared to the rest of the album, but it is a masterpiece!!!

This is my favorite Linkin Park song,I’ve loved them since they went by Xero and I heard them on The Crow Stairway to Heaven tv series and then I searched the internet and found some of their demos
The song seems to be about actually running away (physically) from a close-minded environment, in order to discover who you really are, and to open your mind to new experiences.
To only mentally run away would be shutting your mind away, like denial.

It's a trip to see you rockin' out to Linkin Park. It's so heavy compared to your other channel favorites, Elvis and Michael Jackson. Did you get into other 90s rock bands like Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, or Nirvana?
I identified with this song so as an outcast and poor kid who was bullied by the popular rich kids and when I fought back I was the who got in trouble because the school administration didn’t like me, I ended up getting expelled many times

Hi Dude, 👋 "Runaway" is one of my favourite Song in Linkin Park. No one can sing like Chester. Linkin Park is Powerful.
I've really been enjoying your Linkin Park reactions man. I was only like 7 when What I've Done came out so I've been more of a casual fan until recently despite growing up with some of their songs. However, this last year I've been listening to all of their stuff and it's been such an amazing rabbit hole to go down. Definitely give Given Up a shot or their live performance of QWERTY.
