Baby Herb is making em dance baby!! It took a Florida doll to finally bring some heat!! Yes gawd‼️
Herb is bringing it but the rest of the team not giving her intensity! She goes into battle mode and hit some moves with a lil mo umph and here they come still being cutesy whoopsy! They got to back her up & match her energy because momma bringing it!!!

I wanted the 4 years to be on the first row but they don’t dance as powerful and that’s okay because they don’t look bad at all.
For example, Chania although I’m glad she made the squad, did nothing for me once I saw her up close, I think her and Haley should switch or change the stand to 2,3,4 instead of 2, 2, 5. Move Haley to the 1st row and Chania the 3rd. And the middle 3rd row to the middle 2nd. If that makes sense. 😂

Oh baby! Without a doubt, SU got the Zero quarter. Now, when it comes to J-settes I think Laneia no shade is a tough act to follow. I say that since we remember how hard Laneia was on necks all season. It’s like come on push it out of y’all J-settes we know y’all can do it you guys did it all last season. Finally, Miss Herb & the Dolls they’re eating for me this energy that Herb and the girls are bringing *chefs kiss* we gonna see how Fifth Quarter is.
Now you know the J-Settes showed out. Stands wise, Laneia had them on lock down, not to say Alayah doesn’t have solid stand moments because she definitely has some, and her count selection is so sensual but equally traditional. In terms of field show, Alayah is definitely bringing more technique and cleanliness that we didn’t see all the time last year. The field shows thus far have been constantly talked about and are certainly more innovative/memorable compared to last year. For this to be only the 4th game, I say Alayah has nothing to worry about nor does she have to be like Laneia to entertain the audience and she’s proving just that. Let Alayah be Alayah and Laneia be Laneia.
SU came and stood on business, Taylor got in that ass early, we will see how they do in the 5th.

@@PynkMonacle It is subtly shady because it’s inadvertently implying that Alayah and the rest of the squad don’t have what it takes, and that’s the furthest from the truth from what we’ve just seen. The J-Settes had the energy right out the gate, and were on GO the entire game. Not to mention, they had fewer mistakes this Boombox Classic, especially on that field, compared to last year. While Alayah has solid stands, the field shows speak for themselves.

Southern finessed and Jackson and Jackson dropped the bag for the Zero quarter. It wasn't the best Boombox Classic 0 quarter, but it definitely goes to Southern.

Honestly I liked JSU energy better. They songs felt more live to me. I like SU 3rd and 4th song. Rain was nice too.

The Fab. Dancing Dolls and the J-Settes once again have proven why they are the standards of Majorettes, period. Herb and Alayah’s count selections are downright nasty and the poise from their respective team backed them up. However, like Dolls, I wish we could’ve gotten at least one all together from the J-Settes, preferably on Big Ballin but I digress; these ladies are absolutely phenomenal. 🩰 x 👢

@@ajones4628 Because they are, respectfully. Their styles (counts, uniforms, fields, you name it) are the most mimicked amongst HBCU dance lines, especially the J-Settes. That isn’t to knock anyone, it’s just what I’ve seen as a fan of HBCU dance period.
@@geekjanetyou are correct. Everyone copies these two teams the most. They are the originals. Motion is good too but they are a mix of sette, doll, and sting. Sting. Is just doll and j-sette mixed perfectly. The divas stole the entire doll style and added new counts. Everyone else is a mix up of j-sette

So JSU not necessarily throwing out all of their great songs in the beginning definitely could be considered something smart... But the counter move to that would be having a versatile book... But SU throwing a lot of good stuff out in the beginning could be a bad move if they don't have noteworthy songs to fall back on during the 5th... IMO the 5th is the most important because it's the end of the story and usually the end of the story is what most people remember....
I could go on and on about this... The art of war... But I definitely understand your point though ...lol

I was there in person, SU and Dolls took 0, halftime EASILY GOES TO BOOM (Jsettes field was also VERY entertaining, and I didn’t stay the whole 5th I caught 4 songs and to me I feel like both teams were playing some really good music.
