    Gonna come in here as an counter argument, but this video is one sided. First, peat regrows. 2nd, atleast here in Finland, if you cut down a forest, you better plant seedlings or the government will take it all and sell it to other seedling planting owners. So, the issue is basically void. And peat is not fallen branches, it is old mossland/swamp. Fallen woodstuffs is called the ground.

      Hey just curious here , literally don’t know anything about forestry, but couldn’t the time between cutting down the forest and the newly planted trees fully maturing be the issue? Again I don’t know nothing about forestry.
