F-Grind: The F grind is an all-purpose grind that is particularly suited for full shots and shots hit with a square face. Ideal for players who prefer a traditional wedge sole. The F grind is the most played sand wedge on Tour. M-Grind: The M Grind, Vokey’s favorite, is designed for players that like to rotate the club face open and closed to manufacture shots around the green. Ideal for players with a shallower, more sweeping swing type who play shots from a variety of clubface positions. S-Grind: The S Grind features a full sole that has been narrowed by a trailing edge grind, giving it a faster feel through the turf. This grind is best for neutral to firm conditions and for players that like to control loft with their hands ahead or behind the ball. D-Grind: The D grind blends versatility from a heel, toe, and trailing edge grind and forgiveness with its high measured bounce. The D Grind is ideal for players with a steeper angle of attack who play shots from a variety of clubface positions. K-Grind: The K Grind is the highest bounce wedge in the lineup, and is the ultimate bunker club. The K Grind is a wide, full sole wedge with enhanced camber to make it forgiving from a variety of sand and turf conditions. L-Grind: The L Grind is the lowest bounce option in the mix. The heel, toe, and trailing edge relief allow for maximum greenside versatility. This club is perfect for firm conditions and designed for precise players. It is ideal for players that have complete control of impact looking for maximum shot-making versatility. T-Grind: The T Grind is perfect for players looking for low bounce and a narrow sole that hugs the ground. With maximum heel, toe, and trailing edge relief, it allows for ultimate shot-making versatility, in any condition.
In our local golf store there is a rack of Vokey wedges ranging from 46 to 60 degrees and with about 6 choices of bounce for each - that's about 48 possibilities. I'm not sure that the video has helped to clarify which ones to buy!!🤔
If you read this comment prior to watching the video… Don’t watch the video, it doesn’t explain anything. If you read this comment after watching the video… I’m sorry you wasted your time. To the instructor… Next time, please explain what a K, M, S etc grind means! . You brought out six wedges, and then threw four of them on the ground. I do appreciate the attempt, I really do. Good luck in your future endeavors.
When you open or close the face. When you open the face on the m grind it doesn't add any bounce so the turf interaction is very consistent. I have the m grind with 8 degrees of bounce for my 60 degree which is really nice for open and closing the face around the green yet being able to sort of swing it the same regardless and the Fgrind with 14 degrees of bounce for my 56 which I use for bunker shots so when you open that face you end up adding bounce but both Clubs from a neutral position will feel like the same amount of bounce. Then I have the 52 in f grind with 8 degrees of bounce. Nice for a neutral club face shot which is all I ever do with that one
Pretty sure he meant to say S grind plays with more effective bounce when opened up (Since it has less trailing edge relief than the M grind which is ground down/rounded off). M Grind sits closer to the ground when opened up than the S grind. M grind (in general) has less bounce and will dig slightly more than an S grind.
Clear as mud
Mississippi mud
Yup I now more IN need of answers, and subsequently have more questions 😅
I rather learn Russian than watch this again

Got fitted for new wedges the other day and it was on the range 😂 I should have gone on the chipping green lol
I'll never understand why a fitting isn't done outdoors, on grass with different lies
I’m more confused now than ever.
That’s funny!! I spit up laughing

Team Titleist ...LOL
M plays effectively with more bounce, and then proceeds to show you how the S plays with more bounce. WTF?

Just ordered some new customs off wedgeworks! High priced but custom and worth it! Hope they are great!
