I've put off buying hungry ghost because of that reason, but WACO keeps on going strong. The fucking PUNK EP was SUPER SICK LALA would be a smash hit in 1992 I swear to god. I want my band to get going and I want to play with these guys one day. Their music connects with me so much.
@@kelechic.jemelumba9981 happened to me and let it rest for some time, now it's a banger again... The trick works for almost every song I get tired of haha
Evergreen is such a good fucking song, they use the same chords in Lowbrow too. I call them the Everlong Chords (they're used in Everlong by the Foo Fighters). I use them a lot in the music I play
Why would you make the effort to pretend to play a live set for recording and not do it? There isn't even mics on the amps or drums. I like Violent Soho's records, but it's disappointing that there isn't any actual good quality live recordings.
+jake kotsiopoulos Yeah i've seen them. I'm talking about a closed environment like this could have been though. Like what KEXP does, or what triple j does for like a version.
I agree. I love this band but this would be tenfold better if it was legit them thrashing it out. I dunno maybe lightspace would explode with awesome. guess I'll have to wait for the Tivoli.
Get a load of captain bring down over ere!!! It's just promo to push the album dude who even cares everyone knows they rule live anyways. No need to neg out just go see a show its fucking sick! Good vibes 😊🤘🏼
+Murry Lancashire (Muzz) It's possible that they are miccing the amps, but instead of putting microphones in front of the amps they are just plugging them directly into boxes that record it straight from the amp and send it to the recording software (If you look at the amp to the right there's a tiny box that is either that or a preamp of sorts). As far as the drums, i don't see any mics but they could be behind the set. In all fairness though it might be hard to "fake" a live set, since timing the video and the audio would be incredibly time consuming, unless serious work was put into this video. So perhaps it is recorded live and we just cant see all the mics.
Classic fuckin Internet neg's over ere! Opinions are like ass holes everyone's got one! The video rules and it's to promote the new album obviously. I personally think it's so refreshing to hear distorted guitars and real drums again on the Australian radio and people digging it. See you guys at the enmore theatre and congrats on yet another brilliant album.
If ur complaining about this not being live, just remember, these dudes are a grunge band. This is basically a live music video. When they play live it’s supposed to be messy and different and that doesn’t translate well to a session like this
Shit i miss you Sleeping in my addiction I don't have seen the right nirvana foo descendante Love us want tu cry and shout like us Slim the Last grunge is coming for us
oh yeah, now that you say it i can hear the similarities... very different style to both songs though in my opinion (and both fucking awesome songs to be fair hahah)
2024 still rocking these 2 tracks
Hello

Evergreen
+BING 753 My exact thoughts when I heard the song lol

I overplayed covered in chrome, can't stand to listen to it these days, tbh
+Christian 0000 Damn that sucks haha

that audio isn't live ?
+RuckusLife You;re right
yeah this is the original song playing over them live; or is it lip sync?
3:22 Everlong
+valcarni1 Please don't compare VS to the shitness pretentious butt rockers called foo fighters
+Riley McCloskey i don't think Foo Fighters are a shitty band, but Violent Soho is way better than them
That's great man, i just don't particually like them haha!
+Riley McCloskey Foo Fighters along with Violent Soho are probably the best rock bands in the face of earth.
+Hey! It's Me! alright...well I'm seeing VS for a seventh time this may and let me tell you, they're nothing like the foo's. A lot better, actually
love it but is this live?
+Akshay Prakash I really don't think it is hey

You guys need to play at POWERCRUISE !!!!
Que bandão da porra! Aquele salve diretamente do Brasil!
Jesus 💓 heart beats for you guys. You play like angels. Jesus rocks to violent Soho.
You guys snowboard
Killroy Viceroy is a freestyle snowboard from Burton if I'm not mistaken

fuckin right stevie. I agree video rocks.
great songs but just seems weird to do a live playing and overdub it with the original recording... doesn't fit well and kinda ruins the video
I was thinking that this performance of this was incredibly tight and one of their best. explains everything…
come to japan
this band fucking rocks
Hell fuck yeah!
Anyone hearing similarities to Evil by Interpol in the intro/verse with the similar bassline drum beat?

😍😍😍
i can hear a massive pixies influence
they Ripp their shit off from pixies, nirvana and foo fighters
Dude, all of their music is purely original, no harm in having good inspirations and influences
Pixies, nirvana, blink 182, Smashing pumpkings and dinosaur Jr big influences clearly
@@Epicjimsta and those bands in turn ripped their songs off from their influencers right?
IOU🤘🐰🤘
foo fighters
rad
que buena banda, locoooo pd like a un comentario en español
What happened to the dude with the beard
+blviking56 He shaved it off a while ago
blviking56 lol
Is he saying “king of the viceroy”
“King or the viceroy”
evergreen sounds a lot like everlong, RIP taylor hawkings
in good portuguese : que foda!
Harvey Danger
Yes Soho fucking rocking it!
Btw I just covered Like Soda on my channel, would love any feedback :)
surely evergreen is supposed to sound like everlong right?
+Max Newton but they don't sound alike...
JethroWaldron ahaha i reckon they do, that guitar riff at the beginning
oh yeah, now that you say it i can hear the similarities... very different style to both songs though in my opinion
(and both fucking awesome songs to be fair hahah)
absolutely, but that guitar riff plus the name, quite the coincidence. love them both tho
+JethroWaldron The guitar riff is the same, Drums are the same in the solo and the solo guitar is very similar to the chorus of everlong
sounds like a interpol and foo fighter mix
WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS!
What’s the point of doing a live set and then lip syncing
The nu grunge, I say
This sounds too much like Pixies mate. FFS.
autolike
sounds like greenday.. meh
lol why are you guys so into this, it's an interpol's evil ripoff, and they are just some pixies/smash pumpkings ripoff aswell
Ayy man back off. Same genre sure but I doubt they're a rip-off of anything.
Shits catchy...
@@whiskeyman9410 Dude, go listen to interpol - evil, and you'll understand
