You won’t have any trouble standing out from the crowd in this car, attention grabbing is the best way to describe the factory Aquarius paint on this. Running the ever-trusty L31 V8 - M21 manual combo as ordered from the factory, you’re never late in a 308! The gearbox has later been upgraded to a 5-speed for more driveability.
Should you choose to get groovy in this “Shaggin Wagon” it doesn’t stop there! It features custom throw pillows with iconic album covers of the era, a Sandman Surfboard and Coca Cola ice chiller, even a pack or 2 of Marlboro darts with Redhead matches after you’ve had your fun. Had a Sandman in early 80's 😭😢😭😢 Regretted the day l sold it . 253 with a 350 Holley 4 speed & extractors. I thought l was the king .

Its got a HX grill and also the charcoal canister that i know early HJ did not have but not sure if it was introduced with late HJ or started with HX

Well the car is 46 years old and no rust yet. Look after the Holden's by keeping them clean underneath, and no rust. My 2001 Holden SS Ute has no rust at all, and I keep it very clean, especially underneath.
