The Duragrigus could be based on and a specific spore that comes off some plant. The spore turns the ant into a zombie! It takes control of the ants body, makes it climb to the highest point it can on a plant, then locks its jaw onto the plant so it won’t fall off. Well from there, it basically has mushroom things grow out of it while it’s still alive. So the mushroom type things basically eat it alive from the inside out while they grow. I’ve they hit their adult size, they rain their spores back down to ground, so it can start the cycle all over. I might be off on exactly what the thing is that causes all this zombie stuff. I’m gonna look it up right now, cause I’m thinking it could be more than just a plant. 😂
Ok!! I was right about what I think the Duragrigus is based on! It is a fungus that makes the ants turn into zombies. Here is an overview about the fungus below…. Ophiocordyceps unilateralis, also known as the zombie-ant fungus, is a parasitic fungus that infects ants in tropical forests. The fungus's goal is self-propagation and dispersal. The fungus infects ants by attaching itself to the ant and drilling into its exoskeleton. Once past the ant's exterior armor, fungal cells feed on the ant's insides and begin to spread throughout the victim's body.
I think the last section with Missle chasing you in the moon base should've added a jumpscare if he caught you because it seemed like a stealth horror section.
I have to wonder if the TV headed guy is a FLCL refrence, which would make a lot of sense given all the music/guitar themes going on in this game (it's an anime where they beat people with guitars). Also that Taco truck is like a triple copyright infringement, Waluigi in a Pokemon fangame with a sprite ripped straight from Stardew Valley. I'm kind of impressed 😂
