- How to build an exhaust muffler at home using aluminium casting techniques and a carbon fiber tube.
I've had issues with the exhaust of my Tomos Café Racer project building up too much pressure around the exhaust port. I did some calculations and figured my exhaust muffler and stinger inner diameter were too small. I decided to build an exhaust silencer for my 2-stroke moped myself using aluminium casting and a carbon fiber tube. The result and sound is amazing. Enjoy!

great muffler, but why is your foot peg 20 meters above your brake pedal ?
because I'm tall and the moped is small so my leg and foot rest on the peg at an angle

Its nicee built bro, but i have a question. I have a plan for making a cylinder block from a soda can, did the soda can materials will durable with the combustion heat from the engine? Thanks.. (im sorry if my english is not good enough)
It's aluminium and can resist the heat. The issue is that there are lot of impurities in soda can metal and it is weaker than a nice quality aluminium alloy. So personally, I wouldn't use soda cans to cast a cylinder

@@noidontthinksolol yeah, and the most succesful method is lost foam casting. I see on internet this method is good for alumunium.
So.. the resonanse and heat will destroy it over time ? XD

would you reccomend the 74cc airsal on there? planning to get one for my ATX
yeah it's fun, but prepare for a lot of issues with the engine block..
