Pretty sure the the studio version is in E minor (capo'd 7) and this live is in D minor (capo'd 5) Easily my favourite Matt Heckler song. So much fun to play as well!
Just saw him last month sing this live in Portland. Totally different. That emotion & small changes in the last verse here instead started at the beginning of the song. I am so glad I recorded it. I haven’t seen a version as good online yet.
