Actually they sell the rooms through touts. Or show wait list but if a non member approaches the hotel they will sell them the rooms. I can tell you this because I have seen this at Saj Resorts Mahabaleshwar.
Club Mahindra members wish to travel as family which means 2or 3 rooms for 2 or 3 nights but such needs are never met even if one has inventory of day .
