Story: After MX killed Lucas, Mark started becoming worried about Lucas’ disappearance. So he went to Lucas’ house to see if he was still there. When he arrived, he saw the tv and game still on. Curious, he played it and was able to play as Mario. When he came across Luigi’s head, he connected the dots and assumed that Luigi was Lucas. Which leads into the events of the cover.
Linguini has been dead for 2 years at this point. He died in the “Maro is missing incident” and maro has decided to get revenge on the culprit of his beloved brother’s death (revenge arc)
Mario was off doing another one of his wacky adventures, *while MX went and killed luigi (lucas)* when mario returned after defeating bowser yet again, he came back to the mushroom kingdom to see it in horrible condition, while searching for the culprit who could have caused this, he found what remained of luigi, shocked and confused, mario collapsed onto his knees, questioning what his life meant now without his only brother, his only true family, filled with vengeance, mario swore to luigi, he wouldn't just defeat the entity that took his life, *he'd straight up kill him, throw the body in lava and give the bones to chain-chomps, take whatevers left and hang it up as a trophy, with luigi's cap on a table next to it* luigi, listening to mario swear these horrid things out loud, it made luigi uneasy, gave him a feeling of dread insue around mario, luigi wanted to calm Mario down, but attempting to negotiate with an angry mario as a ghost is hard, especially when mario thinks he's already losing it, fuelling his rage even further, after the events of the song, mario stormed off fire burning in his palms, his eyes covered in shadows, that once friendly smile, now replaced with an angry frown, this isnt the Mario Luigi knew anymore, *it's what luigi calls, "brotherly love"*

Growing 10 times Mario's size, Mario isn't scared in the slightest, even if he dies here, he'd go out as he came in this world. A hero. There was nowhere to basically run but past the castle to 1-2, So Mario throws a fireball in MX's face and darts for the pipe. MX smashes the pipe and jumps down no problem. Mario is darting past every Goomba, Brick, and Floating Platform, and escapes to the Warp Zone, losing MX, and leaving him clueless. He had been freed, but not for long. Mario then found this glitchy orange pipe, and it said '85 PC PORT, 30 MINUTES AGO. The other pipes remained normal. Mario jumped in the orange one and had a chance to save his... brother? I mean it's a child in the body of Luigi but idk. Either way, Mario grabs Lucas by the arm, and does the same thing he himself did alone. Luigi's ghost was smiling. After making it to the Warp Zone again, the orange pipe changed. Now it said Super Mario Bros. (1985, Licensed by Nintendo) Mario looked at Lucas, he realized he was traumatized and was looking at the pipe in astonish. After a minute, The 2 heard MX breaking blocks, he was hunting. Then Mario and Lucas jumped in the pipe. Mario awoke. Nothing was dreary both Luigis were ok, but Mario dyed Lucas' hair a different color so they could be told apart. Everyone in the Kingdom, including Luigi, comforted Mario as soon as he arrived. He had won against that 10 feet fat freak.

After hearing what happened, he was given one final request, and Mario simply uttered: “Take me to him.” The Mushroom soldiers escorted Mario to Luigi’s final resting place. There, he saw the state of which his brother’s body was in. Horrified and driven into deep grief, Mario didn’t resist as he was dragged to the edge of the Mushroom Kingdom to be left to rot alone. He stayed there, curled up under a large, old toadstool… until he died of starvation… the last moments of his life were left grieving his brother, and everyone he has unwittingly murdered along the way…
Mark: why did I leave you to die… I could’ve done better… Lucas: it’s not you’re fault, Mark me: it’s going to be ok mark.. Mx: *watching the sad moment from a distance*

Can someone pls make a bygone purpose with joker(telltale villaganty) where he accidentally kills batman bc batman tried to stop him from going down a path to were he couldn't get out of of joker would feel really bad after and be sitting on a gargoyle like batman and before that he would go Alfred to ask Alfred to forgive him then he goes to the gargoyle and the song happens.( This would happen during ace chemicals aka episode 5 chapter 4 or 5.)
I think this is based off after the events of game over, when BF escaped, MX was real upset about losing his victim so he decides to drop out of Mario's body and find a new victim to possess, and when Mario came back to life, he saw what happened and is now grieving over the loss of his brother. That's all I'm thinking rn
