Steven probably regrets killing Mike after the events of Dissension. He so blinded by anger at the the loss of Miki that he didn't think about his actions and killed his own brother without thinking about what would happen after. Mike would probably forgive his brother's actions, knowing that he wasn't himself after the death of Miki and doesn't blame him for killing him. That's what I think anyway. (Also, nice touch putting in Blues' Racticate gravestone and Gold gravestone in the first background.)

The tombstones in the back of the first half are "Raticate" from Eradicated and Unown spelling out "Gold" referencing lost silver. Steven also is probably at Mikis grave in the first half due to the PokeBall on top, the second half being him mourning Mike. Really good art, props to the artist
I was legit about to say something about Noticing the 2 background graves Saying Raticate and below it saying Blue Oak referred to how Blue’s Raticate died during his battle with Red and the other tombstone with the Unown Spelling Gold referred to Lost Silver
These deep voices work surprisingly well. Steven and Mike need more covers.
Bro for some reason i thought about making that for my headcanon for steven, like after killing mike, mike helps steven through the rest of his journey and forgives for what steven has done to him.

Bygone Purpose needs more covers. It is such a great song to listen to. Its also one of the first FNF songs I actually cried at while playing it. Hurts more when you understand the story, this cover being a great example, from the way their expressions are shown, to knowing lore, even just the music itself. All of it can pull you at the heartstrings.
After the events of Dissension. Steven got his senses back and regretted his awful decision, knowing that he no longer have a brother around. Which is sadly the only person who would interact with him instead of running away from him. Now Steven is all alone by himself, no humans or Pokemons would came close to him.

In my headcanon of the events here are as follows: Despite everything that has happened...Mike still loved his brother and wanted him move on. He would wish that his life with Dewdrop would bring in that same light that he remembered his brother had, however Steven refuses to forgive himself and slowly allows himself to become forgotten eventually turning to Missingno to give the abomination one final command...to alter the world to the point where no one knew he existed and erasing the memories of everyone in Kanto that there never was a champion. As the years go by and over time nature would overtake his home and would be cut off from the rest of Pallet Town he remains there, forever haunted with his memories, to remember the day he threw everything away all the while his brother, restless and cannot move on tries desperately tries to get his brother to move on despite that its never going to happen, they are trapped forever.
I love this, only thing i see thats "wrong" is the amount of reverb steven has, intentional or not, it still works.
i think that's to signify that he's in an empty place like the graveyard in the tower

Dang man is this honestly a pretty great bygone purpose with these characters while fitting really well and the art that's been featured/included is nice looking as well,
And along with that I love what was done with the part at 1:44 with the photo and mike's ghost afterwards to make feel even more sadder.

I just realised how similar hypno and steven similar to each other
-Both look like characters from game with some difference (hypno being really small that normal hypno and steven long hair then short hair of red)
-Both have close connection to a girl (hypno's trainer and steven's charizard)
-Both lost their close one by a young person (mike killing miki due to malfunctioning of trade and bullies making hypno's trainer kill herself)
-Both become more sinister and seek revenge towards due who did this and both suceeded doing that
Steven immediately regrets killing Mike after the events of dissension, they were planning on a fun adventure, but it proved the opposite… after miki died, his anger took over… and Steven killed his brother… that he regretted… he was that sad that he wished miki never even died soo this wouldn’t have happened, and as for mike? He’s gone forever, he even felt sorry… mike though it was his fault… but it was Steven’s fault… and now Steven will avenge miki and mike for getting killed…
this is honestly kinda sad, like the charizard was a accident, and yes steven lashed out in anger and grief to a extreme level, but now i'm sad for the blastoise mostly. like it's like it's trainer died or disappeared in the art and may never know, and may feel abandoned. or at least will act on steven if it found out the truth.
really goes to show you if revenge is really that worth it in the end. like sure maybe minor things, but to a extreme, you're hurting more then just the person you're getting revenge on, and let's be real, a death of a loved one, especially caused by someone close to you will cause alot of pain and hatred to occur weather or not it was their intent. so it makes sense why he lashed out the way he did. but that blastoise though... i'm dumb brain made that situation sadder for me because i thought of how it is and is going to feel.

i don’t think he regrets it either , steven & s!3v3n are completely different to one another despite practically being the same person . Miki was his entire heart and soul as a companion and he wanted to avenge for her death with his brother’s life , the one who killed her .
S!3v3n is malicious with nothing but murderous intent for his brother , it’s like he lives to mock him for the rest of that time he’s alive , hence why he is killed . If it meant bringing back his Miki , he would do anything . So yeah , i don’t see any remorse in the story either . I see it in mike , definitely , but not in Steven .

In the story Steven killed him in order to use his soul to bring Miki back. But Miki came back looking like a zombie and is in pain. So Steven had to put them out of said suffering, meaning he killed his brother for nothing as he didn't get Miki back
Time to share my headcannon.
Steven regrets killing Mike so much, his own anger split him into two people almost. Theres Steven and well..S!3v3n. He did indeed keep Dewdrop (Mikes Pokémon) and is to scared to tell it Mikes dead, so he just says Mike is on a really long trip. Hes just a lost soul. He keeps old photos as well
