どうもありがとうございます😭 Thank you for posting this invaluable video on UA-cam. This video captured the coastline of Shek Tong Tsui that was before reclamation. That part of the sea has already turned into a cargo pier within a few years, then gradually transformed into a walkway with leisure facilities now. I miss the good old days when I was little, when I could shout out loud from the window of my room on the 13th floor and my parents could actually hear me from their ships.
I miss HOME. Those cheap tram rides from my city ( Wan Chai ) to Central or Southern Playground. 😢 the noise, the wooden seats, the smell. 😢 I'm living in the Philippines now since my parents brought me here by the year 1997. This brings back so much of my memories ❤❤❤😢 thank you for posting!
Thank you for watching my video. Sorry, I did not shoot video of buses in Hong Kong. I have only few minutes of video that taken from the Airport Bus
HI. First of all thanks for uploading these precious videos. i would like to know if you have recorded any video about buses during your several visits to HK ?
These trams are fantastic. Don't seem to remember seeing any of these ones with this open deck in the back part. Odd to see that a lot of things in Hong Kong were same as they are today but also a lot of things changed, i wish i could travel it in the past century!
very interesting the tram you were on seemed to have a conventional horn...i remember trams back then had a bell that's went ding ding ding....that's why trams are still to this day affectionately known as "ding dings"

Thanks for sharing your video. Those were the glorious days of British Hong Kong.
Thanks for the posting! Really like the old HK and the street view.

2.60is hkd

I don't know much but the shoreline is between Sheung Wan and Kennedy Town.
1994年我出世, 好想有time machine 可以travel back to 1994
HI. First of all thanks for uploading these precious videos. i would like to know if you have recorded any video about buses during your several visits to HK ?
Welcome To Hong Kong.
Excellent truly art love it. For about 11 mins there I was in Honk Kong and there year was 1994 thanks.
Nice Video~~ Thanks for sharing !!
those neon lights are gone… fortunately those trams are still in service.

That's be amazing enough!!! will you consider broadcasting those videos on youtube as well? look forward to more invaluable recordings
We call it "Chin-chin densha(チンチン電車)" in Japan. It is same meanings as "Ding-ding tram". Most Japanese trams have no bells now.
Today, the chin chin densha in Hong Kong are no change. You video such as yesterday. But, actually Hong Kong was changed too much nowadays.
still pretty much the same 2021 now and almost 2022
only buses and few shops different and some additional new trams.
thanks for vid
large signboards have gone totally exstinct
When Hong Kong was Hong Kong.
very interesting the tram you were on seemed to have a conventional horn...i remember trams back then had a bell that's went ding ding ding....that's why trams are still to this day affectionately known as "ding dings"
Thank you 🙏 I miss hk..
Wonderful!
Dunno why this is in my recommendation, but i guess it's still interesting to watch
Back to the British HongKong
The old Glasgow trams now in Hong Kong.
9:20 that tree was so short back then
YEAH I REMEMBER BITS OF "DOUBLE DECKER BUSES". WE USED TO STAY FAR FROM THE CITY so i dont EXCATLY HAVE MEMORY of CITY OR CITY LIFE IN HONGKONG.
10:12 The driver slams the door closed while there are still 3 people in the line waiting to board the tram.
No mainland people crowd/travel in the street 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
What is the place in 2:30?
I think it's in Kennedy town west of Hong Kong island. But now I think most of the water is reclaimed now.
It should be taken in 1994. Some of new buses introduced by Citybus in the same year are seen as well.
Nice
I can remember most of the advertising. The trams got wooden inner panels - now they are in plastics
I really like the street market. Now HK is ruined.

If a cat went on one of those buses and I was on it I would slap it
1983 no citybus new bus
no 1993!
May be 1983!!
Looks 1993 to me.
